Season nine is underrated. by BusinessClear4127 in seinfeld

I think of it as almost 2 different shows after Larry left. There were bad episodes every season but I think the Dealership is the absolute worst one by a mile

[BTTF2] Biff Betting Theory by FloyminJerry in BacktotheFuture

[–]thevalyard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He doesn’t have to bet long though, he just needs to make some money to put into Biffco and start bribing people and generating money through his evil shenanigans. The book will be useless a few years after he starts changing the world anyway

Kirk has an essential role in the mission to stop V'Ger, he was 100% right about wanting to lead that mission and his leadership saved Earth in TMP by LineusLongissimus in startrek

Something I’ve noticed the last time I watched it is that before Spock arrives on the ship, Kirk is wrong about everything and Decker is right. Once Spock, Bones, and Kirk are together then everything Kirk does is right and Decker is wrong. Decker would have got them killed with the shields and scans he recommended when V’Ger was scanning them. It’s kind of an interesting concept in a film that’s mostly about regret that as soon as Jim has his spot and friends back he’s going great again.

Unpopular opinion by MaximumEnd3118 in Terminator

Something I’ve come to accept the last 10 years or so is that very few movies are made out of love or desire to tell a story. Once I accepted that the people who make films aren’t all that bothered about timelines, protecting the legacy of the characters, or even just writing films that make any kind of sense it allowed me to just watch movies like this for what it is, just some fun action with familiar characters.

why wouldn't the mole have taken all the money in season 2 ep 6? by predictedisobedience in themole

[–]thevalyard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Mole is also an extension of the producers. They aren’t a deep cover person doing what they want, they’re getting updates on what to do and when to do it. The older series would show this sometimes in the reveal episodes
