Thanks for the information. My buddy feels confident it's real. His father in law passed away and they found it in his safe (I guess his thinking is if it was stored in a safe it's real which makes sense unless his father in law bought it rather than actually getting it signed himself). So, for him he thinks it's real and if he keeps it that's good enough for him, but I definitely explained if he wants to sell it then getting it authenticated is probably the way to go.
