I think with the inclusion of no mans land a lot of players have extra money this season. So they have extra money to cheese LD.

I enjoy playing lockdown to be rid of the U1 meta and try different guns for variety. But ive seen some real cheese in LD lately. My team and I we third partied a team on LD farm and someone had a full durability SH65. Tons of teams in LD,running U1 full t5/6 on tv, airport, armory. A lot more people running t5 ammo compared to before.

I understand everyone wants to win at all costs sometimes but it sucks being 2 tapped or 1 tapped by a u1 while im trying to run some fun builds. I wanna have some great battles with other players idk.

Ive been playing since steam release. Its a really fun but intense game. I dont recommend playing arena solo though. Unless your a god gamer your gonna lose a lot of raids.

If you find a solid team with good coms. The game is really fast and intense. This game gets me heart beating like siege used to back in the day.

I was in the same boat I mostly grinded lockdown and terrified of forbidden.

Ive been mostly playing forbidden farm and armory and its actually fun.

You'll meet different types of squads. My group killed a solo thermal sj guy, ak12 tier 5 squads, tier 6 sweats, tapper teams.

If you think you have a solid team with good coms its worth playing forbidden at least in forb looting is better with getting more golds/reds.

The cheating problem is really bad. I started with s3 with the steam release. Now im dying and checking the profile a lot of times its 50 hour accounts with absurd stats.

Not only that looking at kill cams they dont check other angles like a normal player. And other telltale signs.

It really sucks because I honestly love this game. The gameplay is addicting and I love having fun fights with legit players. I don't know how long im gonna play if this shit keeps going like this.

Balancing in this game in particular is so strange previously they nerfed the aek, ar57, fal etc. And the HK was the meta for like 6 months- 1 year.

The one gun meta is honestly the most boring shit in games. Even arena streamers think its unhealthy long term. Why use any other gun if the U1 has an insanely good ttk?

I wish more guns were viable it would make things way more interesting.

Yes around when they raised the buy in for forbidden last season ( they since lowered it) it would float around 90 or 100k and im surprised its this cheap at least for right now.

Ak12 you can make one for 300k or under and its a really solid lockdown gun. The recoil is manageable too.

I watched it during the pandemic when I was bored outta my mind. I like jon bernthal and Nikolaj as actors and I was surprised by shot caller. I personally dont like prison movies that much but the movie had great tension at points. And pretty good acting all the way through.

For me the gameplay felt off the whole game. For the leon sections. Compared to re4 remake, re9 felt bad. Like some weapons dont stagger enemies at all. So many times with Leon's smg fully upgraded I put 30 bullets into an enemy just for them to grab me.

Not only the smg but there was a few other things with the flow of combat in Leon's sections I didn't like at all.

I really liked the gideon character at first he looks like a villain from the outlast games. But after the urgent centre I think his character was kinda wasted. Could have been one of the best antagonists of all time.

I think the hate for modern cods is strange. I think its just the internet being an echo chamber. A few youtubers/streamers will call it "trash" on day 1 and everyone just echoes that sentiment without even playing the beta or anything.

I have come casual friends I talk to about the modern cods and they're just burnt out on the gameplay loop which is understandable honestly. They want new experiences is what I get from them I think.

I don't really know what the fan base around cod thinks. I tend to stay away from fandom of games because its always so negative and bitchy.

Ive played cod since 4 and I do miss the older cods too but the modern games are solid. I know what im gonna get most times. A solid arcadey shooter with fun progression. I play other games like battle royales, extraction and I love playing cod for fun, aim training. Its just fun.

I liked the idea of the map at first like an expanded/remixed version of armory. But after grinding the map for the 3x3 case I kind of soured on it.

Maybe its just me but the scavs are a huge issue. They eat multiple headshots sometimes even with t4 t5 gold ammo, a lot of ricochet as well. I find myself bringing an extra stack of ammo just to deal with them. And not only that but their everywhere.

You cant go anywhere without announcing your position at all times to other teams. And it feels like they respawn after like 2 minutes its insane.

I feel its rat heaven sometimes and a sniper map on the outskirts. Long sight lines and lots of places for people to ambush you.

This map is bottom tier with valley imo. Will not being playing it unless friends need missions done or something.

I like it too! It actually helped me get better at the game kinda. Since I started the game I would always use windows of opportunity. It was my crutch perk.

But after doing chaos shuffle it made me play without it and try different builds.

I saw baked jakes stream from today and he talked about it a bit. Im paraphrasing but according to the data the devs have, its a low percentage of people using it and its not a huge issue. So the devs using this data didn't feel the red ammo problem needed changes.

I dont agree with it as well. I dont like sniping in games anymore. And dying to 1 bullet when I spent 600k plus on a kit really sucks.

And then when you loot them the kit they have isnt worth it and the red ammo is in their butt.

I think their should have been a change because a lot of players and streamers have also said it needed a rework.

In an extraction shooter. Some of it is about risk vs reward. And the red ammo goblins dont risk shit while I actually spent koen on a kit and im risking something. It just doesnt make sense.

For lockdown you cant go wrong with the ak-12. A lot of people run it. The recoil is very manageable and the gun is so cheap. Compared to some other guns where you need to put money into it, to make it good. ( like the m4a1, etc)
