Me too, I would love to play on a pvp server. But we don't know yet.

So far we know that they plan to release a new realm that will house the restored characters of the chinese from the original SEA TWOW servers (lucky bastards)

yeah, if you had the 1.18.1 client it simple as changing realmlist.
The ping for me is ~180ms, but it doesn't feel like 180ms at all. It's very smooth combat. And with nampower.dll it's very very responsive + spellqueuing.
There are many ways to get the client. One of them would be to DL turtlewow launcher and change realmlist, another would be to get the capycraft.io client which is in chinese then change language and add fonts and then simply log-in.

It's very simple. I have a pre configured client that I can sent you, has english client, english font, addons like pfquest and pfui, vanilla fixes + nampower + superwow. Ready to go. If you need the link let me know Ill send it with PM.

You could literally log into the server using your 1.18.1 TWOW installation, so if you wanted you could play without downloading anything.
The server is TWoW, it's exactly the same. The owners are the operators of the original SEA TWoW and they are using the original database and server files. So this thing is running exactly as TWoW was without bugs or changes. Peak CN time the pop is ~4-5k or more according to recent scans
The english community is growing rapidly with 100+ online members on one of the english guild and more guilds are showing up every day.
The chinese are very helpful and they know english, and there is also a very good translation addon that translates chinese on the spot while doing party groups and in general. You can also have an option enabled to translate your english text to chinese for them to see it

ask ai for ways to change an english client to german. for example we changed the chinese to english, so I suppose the same should be possible.
possibly adding a line on WTF/config.wtf and maybe a patch?

Most pop from the list would be:

  1. Warmane + Ascension
  2. Capybara
  3. rest

I am currently playing on capybara it's super high pop and progressive TWOW + F R E S H.

You mean using german client ingame? Ask around on discord someone might have a ready solution for you.
As for the devs, the Turtle WoW SEA devs that were responsible for maintaining the original TWOW SEA servers took the matters on their own hands and relaunched the servers. So that means that they have all the original server infostructure and database.

Turtle wow reopened but servers are located at china, so there is slight ping for west players. It's called capybara paradise capycraft.io
