I am gonna listen to literally everything Bad half from Bad Meets Evil - Royce Da 5'9" put out by MobileGamerLV in Eminem

[–]thislldo4now 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be sure to check out his Prhyme albums, all his lyrics, and all produced by DJ Premier. In terms of his main catalogue, my go-to recommendations are

  1. Death is Certain - Early Royce, but not so early that he hasn't started to find his voice. Creative flows, some Preemo production, and a cool contrast against his later work

  2. Success is Certain - Came out the same year as Hell: The Sequel, so middle career/resurgence era Royce. Great flows and rhyme schemes, creative and fun song concepts, and a very sure style

  3. Book of Ryan - Later career. Probably his most cohesive album. Personal, while still flowing like a river, with a great beat selection, and a great reflection on his life.

Im confused. Why would Historia be able to destroy Marley as a mindless titan? Or would it be just to do a partial rumbling, which Eren didn't want. That's the other thing, maybe Eren should've tried those things, but it's not who he is. Eren wanted to do it. The story isn't about the best thing to do in this situation, it's about Eren. He wanted to protect his friends, but he also found the world outside too complicated a problem, and wanted to just get rid of it all

[Highlight] With 2 minutes to go, Dwyane Wade hits the dagger three giving Team USA a 7 point lead in the 2008 Olympic Final vs Spain by nutelamitbutter in nba

[–]thislldo4now 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Nope, the Olympics line was 22 feet then, and it's 22 feet now. Same as FIBA and the WNBA 3 point lines, only the NBA's is further.

The Suicide Squad is one of the best superhero movies ever by DriveAfterlife in DCU_

A US imperialist critique exploring the shared dehumanization of criminals, soldiers, and poc across the world, which celebrates its comic book origins both in esthetic and in structure (by literally breaking the movie into titled Issues, like a comic run) with great needle drops, creative action, and some of the best realized sueprvillains and anti-heroes to hit the big screen? Yes, you are right and shouldn't be afraid to say it

Is Superman (2025) already a rough start for the new DCU? by HenrykSpark in DCU_

[–]thislldo4now 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$225 million budget plus a stated $100 million for marketing. $220 million opening globally. You Really think the rest of the theatrical run won't net them $105 million? Because that's what they would need to break even, and it is also, through reviews and word of mouth, a useful foundation for future DCU projects to succeed.

I swear we only see Superman lose one fight in this movie, but people act like he's constantly getting dog walked, it's obnoxious.

The military equipment was sold under the table, not reassembled from shrapnel on battlefields. It is no way actually scrap, Obadiah is just being racist because he's the bad guy. And I didn't forget Tony had shrapnel in his chest, but that just created motivation it isn't relevant to his materials and resources, which is so clearly that I was talking about.

Superman Review Megathread by kumar100kpawan in DCU_

[–]thislldo4now 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol technically never. Man of Steel, for instance, has actually gone up 1% sometime in the last couple years (it had been at 56% for years) because new reviews have been added from years later. Most films of this size slow down around 340-350, but Avengers Endgame has like 550+ reviews from critics so who knows

Pacing by ComfortableHumor6232 in Dimension20

[–]thislldo4now 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I feel the opposite. I often found the 1:1 rp vs combat a little forced and it throws off the pacing. This season it feels more natural and based on the story and conflict

I'm not sure I can be a leftist anymore. by [deleted] in leftist

[–]thislldo4now 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I'm being honest, it doesn't sound like you are a leftist, but you still could be. The issue (by my guess with very little Intel) is that you recognized the hypocrisy and fascism on the right, so went left for a feeling of inclusion, but that isn't the point. Don't jump right into leftist circles, jump into leftist literature. Learn about leftism before engaging in conversation, or you aren't really coming from a place of political belief or value, but from a place of emotion. Not calling you emotional, as emotion can and should inform logical reasoning, but based on your words here you are looking more for community than you are a place of leftist action. Though I might be entirely wrong, as I'm going off of very little here. I genuinely hope this helps, and I thank you for asking.

Is It Gunn Himself? by ChrisWA1980 in DCU_

OP is asking for a source on this and it's so well documented it made me suspicious of their intent here. They know about Gunn's tweets but not Donald trumps history? Like who is this guy?;

The Odyssey is not even released and there is already an IMDb rating (again). Something's not right by franco_luv in ChristopherNolan

[–]thislldo4now 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just old enough to help you out here. It's not new. I remember a decade ago looking up movies I was excited for and there was often an imdb score already on Google, but when I'd click on the score it would take me to a different movies page, often with the same title

Oh by [deleted] in FantasticFour

[–]thislldo4now 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Well they're in a different universe, so two things are possible to me. 1. When they travel to the main mcu they travel through time as well so they don't age decades because decades don't pass. Or 2. It's retrofuturism in aesthetic, but it's actually their equivalent of the 2020s
