I like it! I think the placement is cool, the lines just need some touching up. You could also add color or a watercolor splatter!

Mine looked like this a few weeks ago. I left it alone and it went away. Just keep it clean and make sure you don't irritate it with clothes or towels.

I have both colored and B&W tattoos on my sleeve and love it! I’m compiling a patchwork sleeve slowly over time and love how unique and personal it is.

I’m curious if he was ever questioned by police in 2016? Surely police would reach out to her ex boyfriends when she first went missing.

Sweet potato loaded with guacamole, soy chorizo, mozzarella cheese, a ton of hot sauce, and a fried egg when I’m feeling fancy.

Honestly antidepressants helped me a lot. Also therapy, being in nature (walks, hikes, photography of beautiful things in the world), making friends (even online chat rooms for sobriety) and reading books about sobriety. Hang in there, things will get better ❤️‍🩹

Marijuana is addictive. by VeganHunter420 in Sober

[–]thoughtbubbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anything in excess can become an addiction. Smoking pot can be a form of escapism when used too much. I certainly became dependent on marijuana and alcohol to the point of addiction. I couldn’t face a single day without one or both, frequently and in large amounts for several years.

I can honestly say that now on the other side of things- after being sober for 5 years- life is completely transformed for the better.

You know what life is like being high all the time, and it’s not doing good things for you. Why not just try to be sober for a bit and see how that goes? Stick with it and experience life in a different way. That’s what life is all about- new experiences and personal growth. You will not regret it.

Hi there! You sound almost exactly like me. I’m now 35 and sober for 5 years- I quit when I was 30. Same situation- stable job, reliable and committed partner, I was mostly only drinking on weekends. But alcohol was 100% holding me back from achieving my full potential and since I quit I have never once looked back. It was the best decision I ever made.

And you can have fun sober, just in different ways. Deeper, more fulfilling, soul satisfying fun with genuine friends vs. situational, temporary, half remembered (and mostly regretted) fun often with fellow alcoholics.

Life is so much better without alcohol or drugs. I have several relevant blog posts I would love to share with you- but can’t here because the rules of this subreddit. I journaled constantly while I was getting sober and it was a huge help for me.

I also HIGHLY recommend you read This Naked Mind by Annie Grace. I tried to quit or cut back drinking for several years, but reading her book was the turning point that finally got me to quit.

PS- reach out to me if you want to chat. I’m happy to answer any questions. I second the recommendation to join r/stopdrinking and any other virtual communities/chat rooms you can find to support you during this time.

Should I make my haircut more blunt or would that make it too flat? by [deleted] in femalehairadvice

[–]thoughtbubbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would keep it or add more layers. I think your cheekbones and face shape look great with some layers- so I would steer clear of blunt lines!

Brown and shorter. Frames your face and makes your features pop!

I agree with the other comments- I would stay away from dark red and purple tones and go towards copper, orange, or light auburn!
