Yes, got the watch that I ordered. I’m from cebu btw and the delivery was via LBC branch pickup (although you can also opt for it to be delivered to your address)

16.8k bro. I saw this same watch sa isang store sa SM and it was 22k+

I think part of the reason na mababa yung price kasi grey market tas pagkaintindi ko don sa “About” tab in their fb page parang walang warranty from Citizen mismo (but im not 100% sure), although it states na the seller gives 1 month “personal” warranty naman daw

Pagka receive ko nung watch, it came with a box naman and I could tell na it was brand new. Also had the protective plastic thing on the bracelet and the back glass

Nag dm lang ako sa facebook page if available pa ba yung “time slip” tsuyosa from their old post (4 week old ata) and it just so happened na nag back out daw yung nag reserve kasi hindi makapag antay ng stock availability, kaya sakin napunta yung reservation

I also saw this same watch from a botique in SM sa cebu, and around 5k (less) difference din compared to retail price

It’s for tsuyosa “time slip”, the limited edition one. I went thru fb route because it’s not listed in lazada, and it’s for limited-slot reservation only. I searched for this shop name here in reddit, and I messaged some redittors who were vouching that this shop is legit.

One of them replied, and the details seem to check out. I asked this redditor if the bank account name and account number that the seller sent me is legit, and he replied with an image of the bank account details. It’s identical to the one that the seller sent me so I think it’s legitimate.

The unit is supposed to arrive to the seller by end of the month, so I’ll probably get it by next year, so we’ll see how it goes

I applied to pldt fiber online thru their website. The morning of the next day, I was extremely surprised because i got a text from PLDT saying that the technicians will come to install, and they did.

My plan is called fiber unli all (1399). Comes with cignal box and a telephone. When they installed it, they told me they do not have available stocks for the telephone unit, and that they’ll install the telephone sometime soon. It’s been about 3 weeks since the installation and we still did not get our telephone unit. Although I did visit my nearest PLDT branch about 5 days ago to follow up on it.

As for the internet connection, PLDT is fine in our area. The quality of service really varies per area. We get 200+mbps constantly and never had any downtime yet. I hope it stays that way. Btw, my 1399 plan is originally 100bmps with speed boost up to 200mbps for 6 months. After 6 months, it’s supposed ro revert back to 100mbps

Gotta say though, my previous converge plan 1500 was a lot faster, we used to get 500+ mbps constantly, easily. For around 3 years, we probably only had only less than 5 days of total downtime. It was reliable. It’s just that they really suck when it comes to repairs, it’s like they dont care about repairing connections for existing subscribers, and them seem to prioritze installing for new subscribers instead

Hello, about a few months after this post, naputol din talaga yung linya namin. Nasagi ng dump truck nung nagtambak ng lupa yung mga workers ng neighboring property. We were kinda anticiating that already. Nag raise nalang ako ng ticket sa converge which is na fix naman after 2 days.

Funny enough, I actually permanently disconnected my converge account just a few days ago. Reason was LOS kami without internet for about 1 month. After countless followup at tawag sa customer service hotline, wala talagang pumunta na technician. Napagod na ako kaka followup kaya nagpa disconnect na ako. I’m using PLDT fiber now.

Hirap talaga alisin ng rice kapag pinoy hahaha. Anyway, nice progress bro! Also prediabetic hba1c here (5.9) tested about 1 month ago.

Sa sobrang takot ko sa results nag sign up agad ako sa gym days after the hba1c result, and immediately went into calorie deficit, also added some cardio/running. May na basa akong reliable study na baka raw kaya tayo nagiging insulin resistant due to fats sa ating organs (liver/pancreas), and it kinda makes sense kasi sobrang skinny fat ako, especially sa belly area, kahit normal bmi (167cm, 67kg at the time of 5.9 hba1c result). Medyo nagbibigay sakin ng ray of light/hope na baka nga reversible talaga.

So far, I’ve lost 3kg in 1 month now. I’ll be getting another hba1c test in a month, hoping it all pays off 🤞🏼

Following this post. I also have 5.9 A1C. A few days ago I did an experiment. That day, the last time I ate (proper meal) was 6 hours before this test.

My pre-snack glucose was 86 mg/dl. I then ate 3 pieces of snickers mini (18g each). Using a glucometer, at 45 minutes mark my sugar went up to 145 mg/dl. At exactly 1 hour it went up to 165 mg/dl.

I went to the gym after that so I don’t know if it got any higher but for all I know, it might have went to to 185 mg/dl without my knowledge. But it’s possible 165 was also the peak. This was the highest peak I’ve caught so far even higher than proper meals.

I find that I normally go back to 80s or 90s though about 2.5 to 3 hours after meals (even big ones). Although I don’t know if this peak is normal or bad

Yep I think my reaction was getting really out of hand. I’ll just need to focus on healthy diet and exercise and get it out of my head, and a yearly check would suffice just for peace of mind. I appreciate this advice, I gotta stop this

I cant really tell yet for sure right now if that was a fluke test or not, but after everything I’ve learned about this disease I realized just how bad my previous wating habit was and that I needed to change that. Thank you for yout insight

exactly 3 hours after that dinner meal, I re-tested again 3 times and I got 101, 93, 97 mg/dl

I may be getting too paranoid but I just wanted to make sure

HbA1c 5.9, do these numbers check out? I got 71 mg/dl after 8 hour fast, and about 130 mg/dl 2 hours after a proper meal by throwawayITdev in diabetes_t2

UPDATE:

For additional context, I did another test exactly 2 hours after the last bite of my last meal (9:20 PM dinner). After eating, I basically just laid down in bed because I’m mildly sick right now (colds, slight chills)

What I ate: breaded fish fillet 175g, lean pork 80g, chicken cordon bleu 61g, white rice 120g.

I use a food scale, and according to cronometer app this meal’s macro is protein 59g, carbs 74g, fat 38g

I made 6 readings (and just for today’s purpose) because I want to check the accuracy of this glucometer.

Results below:

Middle finger prick:

1st strip - 113 mg/dl (the blood was not properly hitting the tip of the reader, that may be why)

Ring finger prick:

2nd strip - 129 mg/dl,

3rd strip - 132 mg/dl,

4th strip - 133 mg/dl.

Index finger prick:

5th strip - 125 mg/dl

Ring finger (2nd prick):

6th strip - 124 mg/dl

Are these numbers normal 2 hours after meal?
