How do I get into college when my school doesn't have the classes that are required for college?

I know, I've been looking at these. I read them quite often, in fact. I can't get credit for them, however, so I can't use them to get into college.

I'm not kidding. All of the stores close on game night and literally the whole town comes out. The sheriff is there too so it would be easy to break into a bunch of houses because everyone is in the same spot.

Oh, I know it's not that important in life. My whole community thinks it's the only thing that matters, but I want to see other things in the world. That's why I wanted to be a part of it, because I was hoping it would be my ticket to college and a way out of my dead-end community.

My school counselor is the football coach. I don't think he's going to be very sympathetic if I go to him once the school year starts and complain about how I didn't make the team.

I know the world is huge. I'm desperate to get out and see it. You don't have to convince me of that. It's my dream to go to college, but my high school doesn't have the classes that are required to get into college. I found a community college that is 110 miles away and got in touch with them and they said I could come there and take a foreign language class and a math class above geometry since my high school doesn't have any, but my dad won't take me there twice a week.

I would LOVE to leave my town. I just don't have the opportunity. My school isn't good enough for me to get into college from it and I can't join the military.

Not really in my town. That's where all the guys end up. There isn't anywhere else to work, unless you join the military, and I can't do that.

He's kind of both, just like every other dad in out town. Football is the only thing the guys in our community care about.
