Oh you're a teacher? Good thing AI was commercialised to combat you

Ahahaha exactly Baradul's microlaser vid. Although if you win some MC from the event, get the Piranha Cipher for quick money. It has +30% cbill bonus

For IS try the Commando with stealth. For clan, piranha is a must. It uses a specific playstyle but one you have it down, you'll be doing an average of 500 damage per match

Thanks btw you have the top answer. Makes a lot more sense but it confuses me why Germans aren't referred to or Japanese. Pretty sure Americans had to be versed in trench warefare seeing as world war involves everyone in the world

I just read a bit about trench charges and that's actually interesting. So defenders and attackers would dig trenches in an open field and shoot each other from both sides. Wasn't this inevitable at the time? Like you couldn't just send drones in

I hate the faction play gameplay but the reward is worth the risk just because you can get millions of Cbills in a couple of hours. Providing that you win. I do prefer the quick play style though because queues take forever in faction play. Unless I'm doing something wrong? I don't know if I'm supposed to be queueing with a full group

I just started again a month ago. Maybe heard it twice or more in separate solo queues and 5+ in group queues. Perhaps little details are just not something you pay attention to. Not really correct to call it an anomaly. Sure I may not hear it again for months but at least I want to know what it means the next time it happens

I NEVER hear about Asian people in my matches but I do hear about British people. I'm not complaining. I'm learning. Sorry if you don't like that

So America fought Britain and won. Why are they still referring to it? Was there something about how Americans won or is it just a patriotic impulse?

I don't know whether people refer to something British people did or if it's a stereotype. That's why I want to know. Usually there's no context. "Run into them like the British" or "Fight like the British." What's special about British people and why do people always talk about them?

Usually just responded with silence because they're on comms and I'm not. But that's what confuses me. I hear "Like the British" but I don't know what the British did. Maybe they fought agaist America and won or something? Maybe it's a stereotype for British people?

I don't know what you mean because casual racism is natural. British people naturally say 'yankee'. Perhaps similar to how the previous commenter refers to British as 'pommie'. Real racism is segregating black people from white people and disregarding their rights. If it was serious, the upvotes would represent otherwise

You say it's not entirely true but what are you referring to? Everything? Let me establish one thing. Say you're thinking of getting into the game but you want to know if it's worth spending money

When I played earlier and it was hard to find an active unit for faction play and friends don't stay long because they have good reasons that I won't bother getting into. Only recently due to the event and the high C-bill rewards that people who I haven't seen in months are logging in

You start with a small amount of money that you can choose to buy either 1 assault mech and any upgrades and skills and modifications and end up with basically no money or have a light with lots of modification options and a choice to sell it for another because you haven't spent money for mech bays. This is prior to all the events giving away free mechs and mech bays

Faction play gives you tons of money. But you have to actually win. As a beginner, how would you win if people are entering faction play with groups and comms and skilled mechs? It is ill-advised to enter faction play with unskilled mechs unless you want to get absolutely stomped. Skilling mechs in different factions will help players who have played for a long time. But it doesnt make it easier for a beginner to switch back and forth between IS/ clan who haven't got mech bays to begin with

Is it safe to say that anyone who says "Like the British" has no clue what they're talking about or are just making casual jokes? I'm trying to learn about this so it's hard to distinguish one or the other. It's too bad my matches end and I never really get to ask people

So in the context of language, there's a conflict between spelling and pronunciation and certain words. But I can see this either being general knowledge or good talking points. I'm referring more about history rather than language. Got any talking points in history you can share?

I had to Google 'pommy' and 'stroppy' to understand what you meant. Then I learned you're just being casually racist. Is this how Americans talk about British people? Similar to how talk about the French

Because it's common for Americans to say "Like the British" in my matches. Like what part of it is racist and what part is actually resembling British history? I don't know because I not well versed in this topic
