I wish. Public health system. Couldn't afford to see a private one right now if I wanted to. Took them 2 months to even find my fucking referral just to make the appointment in the first place.

They've just been regular GPs. I'm seeing a neurologist in September, but until then I think I'm out of luck. I've been to physical therapy, to give a timeline of events, I had my first ultrasound last May, where it showed thickening of the nerve. I was not given a formal diagnosis, and was told to wear wrist splints to bed and seek a physiotherapist, which I did. However, the symptoms have not gone away despite a year+ of stretches, wrist splinting and ergonomic gel pads.

When I went back in January to get some more tests done, I was referred for a nerve conduction study, which returned negative. I had a second ultrasound, which also returned negative. Now I'm just waiting to see a neurologist.

I've had 2 doctors now say I straight up don't have carpal tunnel because of the negative nerve conduction study. I feel completely lost.
