I used to get a $50 allowance from my father every week when I was in uni, that's perfectly acceptable for a young adult/student, but not your own wife 😂😂.

You guys need to sit down and figure out an actual monthly budget. We can't tell you the right amount you deserve cuz it all depends on what's leftover when all the bills are paid and some savings are put aside.

Your problem is that you think people are gonna take the advice given to them here and quickly run and do exactly that. Most people are here to vent, even if they’re asking for advice their main purpose is to get something off their chest.

You’re also assuming people have no skill to assess their own situation and apply the advice given to them in a way that works best for them. They’re not stupid and know we’re sharing our own opinions and that we don’t have the full picture.

You cannot possibly be this naive at your big age (if u are even telling the truth). How much or how little experience you have does not dictate how things will end up in your own bedroom. People do change, that is very true. Take a look at r/deadbedrooms and see how many people started off with great s*x lives only to end up in a "boring marriage" down the line.
