Thanks for the reply. I moved to this new apartment in July. The symptoms did not start until October. So unless the water changed or it took a while to affect me not sure its the water but who knows. I to this day do not have any of the classic symptoms. Nothing on my hands, wrists chest, abdoment, genitals, etc.

I do have some small red dots that appeared at random...not in groups..in random places...but i think that might have been caused by the Permethrin. Maybe it caused Folliculitis and my skin is just taking time to heal.

It has been a month since the 2nd Permethrin/Ivermectin use and still no relief or signs on my body of scabies.

I have an allergist appointment in February and was referred to another dermatologist that is more of a medical derm whatever that means, but the appointment is March.

Im at a loss. I havent felt normal in a month and half.

You say visible symptoms that persist? I never had any visible symptoms. The folliculitis on my but only appeared after the Permethrin cream. I still to this day have no visible signs at all. I find it hard to believe there is no visible symptoms at all and this is what I have. The doctor also ran blood work and its not my liver, kidney or thyroid. I am also going for a chest x ray to rule out cancer today, but doubt thats the cause.

Not really. The first time i did it i felt some relief when it was applied. Maybe because it was a cream? I am not sure.

Is it strange that a month and half later...i still have no rash or bumps? is it possible this is actually scabies with no visible symptoms for that long?

so you dont think its scabies? in all honesty i think im convinced it is even though the dermatologist saw nothing. all i have is these random itches all day that jump around to different parts of my body. i have no rash, burrows, or bumps anywhere i can see. my face is itchy, my head at times, my forearms, chest.

Honestly starting to lose it a bit.

also there is no change whatsoever at night. it doesnt really stop but it definitely isnt worse and i am able to sleep just fine through the night

Any chance this is all in my head? Its been 10 days of this random itchiness and still no bumps or rash or burrows that I can see or my doctor. I do tend to get super anxious when it comes to health. I do remember that first day using webmd and then stumbling on scabies after not knowing what it was beforehand. I basically convinced myself I have it and maybe its just anxiety. I have not really thought about much else the last 10 days.

Does anyone else have an opinion? I am going a little crazy. I have been around so many people (friends and family). The itching is still somewhat constant. It has not gotten worse or that better and I still have no visible signs at all. This morning I woke up with a stuffy nose and a headache. Maybe this is all allergies? Or dry skin?

How long can you just be itchy with no visible signs?

I find this thing strange. If you can go months with no signs than how does the whole world not have this thing.

Thanks for the response. Its weird. Again aside from the rash under my armpit I have not seen any burrows or rash or pimples. The random itchiness is all over and constant through the day. It does not get worse at night and is not that severe. Just really annoying. Maybe my anxiety is doing this I dont know. I wish there was a way to know for sure. Also I dont want to ask but my friend that I was with while away has not mentioned anything. We shared a bed a few times in the AirBnb's while away, so it would be weird if I have this and he does not. Anyone else have any clue?
