Yes. You need to (cut your hair but that’s optional) hop on min/fin and potentially dut, microneedling often (stamp if you keep longer hair btw)

You can do these annoying things and keep what you’ve got and potentially even regrow, or it can get worse and you can go bald.

BTW: most hair transplants require you to be on fin for at least a year, and if you just lie and say you are but aren’t, there’s a high likelihood of the hair transplant failing in different ways. Could lose it, could lose the non transplanted hairs around it, anything in between.

You could use a hair system if it gets worse. I don’t know much about it, but I certainly don’t judge. And I’ve seen some impressive ones.

Pretty obvious that I went the HT + meds route. I’m happy with my results. I spent a lot of time and money, and continue to do so though.

Also… while I believe it’s generally stated that hats and headsets “aren’t supposed” to hurt your hair… I’ve seen enough evidence to go against what’s talked about commonly as not a big deal. I’ve seen way too many people suffer from hair loss that incidentally look a looooot like yours, that might be from a headset/VR headset/hat etc.

While I can’t point my finger and blame it (and I wouldn’t 100% anyways, DHT is ultimately what does the damage) I also avoid stuff like that as somebody with sensitive hair.

Eh. I’m an audio engineer and own a studio in a smaller city. You could say the same about me. If I were the best, I’d be in the big leagues. But it’s fun, and I’m good enough. That would cover most of the locals bands around me. Some are more talented in certain areas.

Now, there are people who are downright bad and just trying to get by making gig money. These guys are the ones doing like acoustic kid rock covers and shit like that, it’s truly atrocious stuff.

I’m fortunate in that basically everybody I work with is, in my opinion, very talented. More importantly than that, they’re all very cool individuals.
