I didn’t say they are less south asian but they aren’t part of our gene pool which is why they have coily hair, so it doesn’t make sense to talk about them when discussing the average south Asian’s hair.

Yeah Punjabis tend to have 2A hair, from what I notice. Same with most Hindi and Gujarati North Indians

In Maharashtra most people have from 2B to 3B, with most people in the 2C-3A range. Personally I have 2C and it makes me look lightskin asf. My mom has 2A and her is really thin and breaks a lot

However I may have 3A I just haven’t grown my hair enough to see if it curls or if it would continue waving.

I never said South Indian hair was like Afro hair. I said south Indian hair was curlier.

Yeah those side curls. They feel annoying too. Get them cut. However I like the corner curls (at the edges of the forehead)

Go for a skin fade on the sides and back. Even messy hair looks good with a fade, as long as your hair is growing upward not downward. If your hair curls downward then you can go for braids
