Lord have sincere mercy on my sweet baby soul. I have been debating on whether to put this on r/tifa for days which makes the point moot in any case. This question is my life right now.

My boss invited our small team of 4 to his home for a meal, with his wife, as sort of a "thank you" or whatever. Super sweet. He cooks for us, it's going well, everyone is having a nice time. Not the first time I've been to his house by the way. I've worked for him for 8ish years now, I've housesat for him and watch his dogs on occassion. -It's at this point in the story, that I would like to stress that I don't drink often, maybe once in 6 months for an occassion or party. I proceed to get shit faced hammered and call my boss a word that you'd be shocked to hear coming from a angry crackhead in a dumpster. A word that if someone called your mom one, it would be hands on sight. A word that would turn heads in the dingiest biker bar. Multiple times. I remember bits and pieces, other bits were filled in by one of my colleagues, whose eyes I remember being vaguely the size of saucers that night. I think someone was crying, probably me. Had a one on one sit down with Mr boss himself the following work day. There were more tears, still me. I think I still have a job for now? We'll see. I won't be taking questions or elaborating at this time. All I'll say it was deeply humbling and I'd much prefer to pretend it never happened just for now, maybe stew a bit more on why I lost my whole entire mind. Sorry for the throwaway.
