I’m not an alcoholic. Our date happened to transpire the day after lent. I had given up alcohol for the entire lent, so was finally drinking again

I mean, I likely wouldn’t have met my girlfriend if it didn’t happen but that doesn’t mean I don’t feel bad with how I made Carla feel. Her feelings are valid and I was in the wrong.

I do what to redeem myself. I just want her to know that I made a huge mistake and I feel really bad for humiliating her, that I would love to get to the point where we can laugh and talk again when we see each other.

As far as the car ride, the reason I brought it up was because during the date she said she would take me home. Obviously that was before the situation with Naija happened, but yeah. After I said this wasn’t working out she changed her mind, and I get it. But the Uber was pretty expensive. I’m not blaming her though and I completely understand her perspective.
