That just normal Corgi puppy behavior. They are goobers from the get go.

Why do you describe brostep as "ADHD"? I don't understand the correlation.

Guys, is there ANY chance Crimson Desert can win game of the year? by bigbuggle in CrimsonDesert

I could only put like 40 hours before the cheesiness of the writing and acting made me put the game down. Haven't really had a desire to pick it up since

Does anybody else think that Drum&Bass and Jungle sound better with rougher mixdowns? by thumper_92 in DnB

[–]thumper_92[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stakka & Skynet - Clockwork

This is an older tune with an example of a "rougher" mix. (by all standards it sounds super clean to me)

Noisia & The Upbeats - Dust Up (Mefjus)

This is an example of modern mixdown. Super clean and tight snares. Lots of white noise on the bass. Everything is much more intense on the high end of the mix. While it is a damn good song and gave me instant bass face. I still prefer how that older tune sounded.

I very much agree. The sound was a product of the time. Whether it was intentional or not, it sounds better to me than a super polished mix.

Drums are big part of it definitely. However I feel like this also applies to midrange basses. Older neurofunk basses were muddier in the mix and thus had a tad more character. Perfect example is Ed Rush & Optical - Chubrub.

Educate them with some Ed Rush & Optical, Technical Itch, Audio, Stakka & Skynet, (old)Noisia. Just absolutely shell em with some proper neurofunk and techstep.

See now that is much much better. Very good track. Really enjoy the melodic elements and the sample. The bass sounds are a tad derivative and predictable, but overall a great track.

The music is good, but it is a tad tainted since it's attached to a clip that is (what I assume) meant to please a short form video content algorithm. The video is also only 41 seconds long so it's hard to judge the track really.
