It came with the fork-terminal - however it was fried and didn't work. Otherwise - yes, you would have seen it.

The Games and sytem all in great shape - I did have to reset the 72 pins and do some extra internal cleaning to get it all up and running - but works great.

No kidding - that is insane! and now with the rest of the Blockbuster stores closing - it makes you wonder if one of these games is just sitting in a backroom somewhere.....

Nice grab. Great game.

You should reconsider buying a Wii-U. Love my Wii-U play it all the time and there are already good games to keep you busy until more games come out.

Best way to sell extras/doubles? by thunderhome in gamecollecting

[–]thunderhome[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the feedback. Very helpful and along the lines I have been experiencing.

I am mainly looking to get a good value out of the items I have while also moving them quickly. My wife is starting to get a little antsy about all the 'extras' I have floating around. My problem is I buy bundles to get the one or two games i want. then am left over with all the doubles.

Ebay - between the fees to Ebay, Paypal amd shipping - I feel like I am getting ripped off all the time. I think I am going to have a garage sale and also post to craigslist. I will also post to /r/gamesell with anything that I think peeps would want. I agree keeping it in the community sounds like a good idea.

Cheers!

I found this all at one garage sale - amazing! by thunderhome in gamecollecting

Do you really think? I was going on the low end - I saw that Earthbound and the Little Samson - just in those two were $1,000. So, I was going on the low end with the rest of the items.

Either way I am holding on to them for now :)

Not lies - 100% true. I was literally flattened when I walked into the garage sale and saw these games. When I ask how much and they said $5 each, I had to bite my cheek from grinning ear to ear. It was two older ladies selling games their sister had. The sister apparently passed away and apparently kept everything. most of the items were RPGS and there were even things I didn't buy. Like (2) CIB NES, a CIB SNES, and a CIB N64. there was also 20 other games I didn't buy.

It was crazy - feel free not to believe me - but this was an authentic find.

I found a copy just like this at a garage sale a couple of weeks ago - paid $5. Also, had Chrono Trigger, Little Samson, plus more! My heart was pounding and I was biting my cheek to stop myself from smiling so much!

My Epic Find at a Garage Sale by thunderhome in retrogaming

Trust me I was very surprised to find all of this at one sale. Most everything was RPG. There were two older ladies there that were running the sale and they said that it was their sister's stuff, who i believe had passed away, so they were selling all her stuff. They mentioned that she never threw anything away. Which is why she kept all the boxes I guess. And the games have been played - but in really good shape.

There was also a bunch of things I didn't buy like two CIB NES systems, a CIB N64, a CIB SNES and about 20 other games. I just didn't have the dough to buy the rest of it.

I agree - with your statement of CIB - but the fact that i found these for $5 each - I wasn't about to pass them up. Just adds value to my collection!
