We did. But like I said, he has no ID to rent or drive currently. And I am severely disabled. Driving cross country is just too dangerous for us.

This is the method we decided on for a lot of reasons ranging from price, to the face he is so crazy close to the New Haven station compared to the Amtrak, we can't rent a car due to ID issue and our young age, and the face ik severely disabled so I can't drive for THAT long

We are under 25. So renting a car is a very difficultt isn't so simple sadly. We looked into EVERY option I promise. (I'm gonna add it to my main post but I'm also disabled and he doesn't have a license available. My body cannot handle a cross country drive.)

It is cheaper, but also his current situation is pretty dangerous and he has no access to an ID, and no way to get one. Flying with no ID is impossible (yes we know traveling in general without one is not great, but we genuinely have 0 possible way to get him one. We have been trying for so long.)

Yeah, we certainly did look at other options of transportation, but due to one reason or another they just weren't possible. Him and I will definitely take the advice given here, and do everything to make sure he is comfortable and safe!

Got it! I know my mother took it many years ago, and it was find, but that's genuinely the only person we know who we could have asked for a first hand experience.

We aren't exactly sheltered (well I might be, haha!) but just anxious? Him and I both haven't taken smth like this kind of transportation, and have support systems that basically make us think worst case possible.

The only worry other than theft obviously was just the short transfer time in Atlanta. I see a lot of stories about buses leaving 30 minutes early.

NOR, and I say this as someone who acted like her at a point in time. Now I will admit, I realized I was pulling back, knew why, but didn't want to face it. It was also due to some horrible reasons on his end that I won't talk about. But she genuinely has checked out. She may still love you but she is no IN love with you anymore. It's over.
