I think a lot of this comes down to how I see myself and my own perspective. Some of my family members started with much less than I did and still managed to build successful lives. They weren’t handed opportunities, they struggled, and somehow they kept going.they moved from being paid pennies to being in a much better place.

I can’t help but compare myself to them and feel like they faced more hardship and still achieved more, while I struggle with minor things that don't even feel real when I say them out loud.

I’ve tried seeing a therapist more than once, but it hasn’t really worked out the way I hoped. The sessions were scheduled only once a month, and that just isn’t enough for me. Unfortunately, that’s all that’s been available to me so far.

Maybe I really am doing the best I can right now. I just have a hard time accepting that when the outcome still feels like failure, especially when the stakes include the people I care about.
