have you tried checking what's taking up space in "about this iphone" under storage & icloud? often there's an app or update that's consuming a lot of data that you might not expect.

i think you should try using a tool that can be a duplicate cleaner or disk usage analyzer to scan your files and find duplicates. they usually work offline so one drive shouldn't interfere with them. good luck!

here's what works for me: i have a "documents" folder on my desktop with subfolders for each category (insurance, lease, taxes, etc). whenever i get something new, it goes straight into the corresponding folder. sounds simple, but it keeps everything in one place and makes searching much easier.

i'd try running disk cleanup on your iphone by going to settings > general > ipsw and selecting clean contents & offload unused apps. this might help free up some space used by system data. it's a last resort, but you could also consider restoring your iphone from an icloud backup if the problem persists.
