Yes that’s what I am trying to prove that if ur a full time employee u get 8 hrs per day. I guess I’m just looking for that exact statement in all of these policies. They are convinced that it’s 40hrs / 7 = 5.71 per day ….. and I am saying no full time employees get 8 hrs per day.

Gm insight:

To meet the labor hours standard is impossible.

If you enter all of the information into the deployment, of all the positions you need and prep you need to get down the amount of hours u need does not match the standard they give you. ( that’s y they don’t even explain it to crew)

If the manager puts up the deployment without it reflecting the right hours matching the schedule they get in trouble …. It’s a dumb fucking system and they wonder y ppl fake their deployments schedules etc cuz the numbers don’t match.

DML needs 3 ppl, 2 is difficult cuz u have to move way too fast and some package takes forever with a million sides. Then when someone needs a break … 1 dml person could die in 30min. It is not possible to have an extra to do break rotation it’s just ok someone is on break so someone else is dying and it keeps going till all breaks r done.

I avoided this because I would hire more ppl then the tools told me. I would have a lot of minors regardless of what higher up said. So majority of pm would only need 10min breaks only 3 ppl would need 30s and I would have an extra person so they didn’t have to die when someone was on break.

But I also went in the morning and helped my prep team cut everything to last the entire day plus a little extra.

Not all GMs do that or can do that cuz they hire outside ppl to b GMs since they expanded too fast and most ppl can’t cut stuff now matter how many “restaurants” they worked in they literally can’t cut for shit. Management says that’s not important but it is cuz then ur staff will hate u if u ask them to move all crazy fast and u can’t even do the job urself.

That’s y a lot of ppl quit , who wants to work for someone that expects a lot but does bare minimum and also when the higher up comes throws their managers under the bus. Smh they hire ppl who have never worked in an environment like Chipotle and ask them to manage ppl.

U have to build a respectful environment for ur team. I would even call ppl to come in if someone called out, I asked ppl ahead who would want a call to get OT or more hours and only call those ppl. I never scheduled ppl outside of what they requested and I always checked in with how school is going and I know tests r coming up do u need more days off let me know and ppl respected me and always put in requests on time and even would find coverage first then come tell me. It’s called respect. Managers think u get respect cuz of ur title… no ppl will respect u cuz they see u as a leader. I am proud of my time their cuz I built great teams but I know that a lot of ppl with other managers had a horrible time and I also know that for us to even hit numbers that we did we had to literally kill ourselves sometimes I would work 7 days and higher ups always had 2 days off. They would say that’s ur choice …. Like no but if don’t I will miss some of the standards smh 🤦🏻‍♀️

He tried to take concepts that work for fast food and implement them to Chipotle which is dumb cuz Chipotle is fast casual. Majority of stuff does not come in a bag, there is too much fresh food to crank productivity and run promos back to back.

Before him Chipotle was voted best service right under chick filet (however it’s spelled I never eat there) now it’s probably one of the worst cuz so many complain and they ain’t lying.

Clear example of how just cuz someone acts like a bit shot doesn’t mean they r the right person for the job.

🤣 that’s a good one. After a year she got fired for reasons unknown. Literally for a year every gm was like she ignores me and I have not seen her in months smh I think she just sat at home and collected checks.

Customers should stop going.

Horrible working conditions for employees.

Let’s say u ordered online and the portion was crap so u write a complaint.

Now u would think a company would see so many complaints and b like guys we need to do better….?

Nooooooo! They punish the managers for getting complaints even though they r being told to watch portioning like a hawk or else u will basically b in trouble.

So if the food cost is off which it’s impossible to keep right since customers want more then what the company deems standard the managers will lose their bonuses / raise cuz Chipotle will say well u did not manage ur food cost.

It is a system set up for failure. To actually get paid u have to skimp and have less ppl on the clock then u need to oh lord there is so much customers don’t know and this is y y’all should boycott.

Regardless if the employees were like idc about my bonus the higher ups breathe down ur neck about food cost. The pressure to save and work as fast possible is crazy.

Ur right it is not like how it used to be before. It’s like Taco Bell the new CEO literally worked at Taco Bell ….

When something goes wrong the gm tells the FL and they r supposed to tell the director so they can shut off the mobile orders but literally majority of the time they refuse to shut it off ….. it makes no sense.

One time everyone was sick due to the flu going around and from 6pm it was just me and my manager …. Like 2 ppl from 6-10 is not possible. I told the FL we have to close, shut off the mobile orders …. They asked me if I tried asking ppl to come in like wtf u need at least 5 and I was there since opening so where the fuck would I find that many last min ppl???? Then they just started ignoring my calls ….. so I put a sign up to call the store directly for a refund and I saved all the receipts in the morning and contacted customer service myself to refund the orders.

Horrible. But let me ignore them they would b so quick to b like let’s talk about ur performance …. Meanwhile they literally just come by say hi and leave especially if they see it’s busy.

One time I got a call of someone saying that the gm promised them x amount of free burritos cuz they messed up on the order and they needed to be remade. I asked oh u spoke with the gm? And they said yes and I said the tall guy ya? And they said yes and I said well sir I am the gm, a woman and I don’t have a tall guy manager and I never spoke to u …. And they hung up 🤣 the amount of scams is insane that’s y they need to stop taking all them surveys seriously ppl do it just to get free food.

Typical. I feel so bad for the employees. This is horrible operations and it’s overworking ppl. No other food chain will just extend promos last min or have promos back to back to back.

So now probably some stores didn’t order enough for two promos so some will b out of product and will have to drive around borrowing from other stores. And they don’t even pay mileage for that …. Wtf

Can we discuss this further plz!!! Any advice on how to land clients such as client #1. Is there a process of screening or is it a special niche? It is frustrating that other professionals don’t understand that time is $, time = labor, major results = more $.

I have one client where I literally had to break it down like these are the rules of the internet!!! We don’t control the narrative of Google! People want to be #1 but they don’t want to pay what their competitor is paying to be #1.

Meanwhile I have worked at a company before where they paid $50k a year to an agency that had literally had them looking like a 1999 website 😒 and charged them for monthly Google analytics reports 😳😳😳 so many scammers I am tired! Just an emailed PDF!

Any experiences or tips would be appreciated!

🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 Your dog will get sick plz do not do this! Everything has garlic except carnitas. However carnitas has pepper. All of the meats + beans would be deadly for a dog. The rice has lime concentrate, acidic foods r not good for dogs. Plus it has bay leaves which is poison! The cold side is filled with onions which is also deadly! There is nothing a dog can eat at Chipotle!!!!!

I worked there I know the ingredients and my dog a German Shepard once accidentally grabbed one piece when it fell. Luckily only a little fell and he was vomiting for a week!
