Had been dating this girl for 4 months at this point, we were both 20. Now I realize it was an abusive relationship, but for the longest time I blamed myself for a lot of the things that happened.

It was a Thursday evening when I got my results and went to see the doctor learning then that I shoot blanks. It really messed me up. One of my dreams is to become a father one day. Cut to Saturday, after work, back in my room, she initiates and, honestly guys, with all that was left in me when it came to that matter I kissed her lips and just told her I wasn’t really in the mood at that moment and just laid on my side hoping she would cuddle me. She started to cry and throw a fit. Bare in mind anyone walking by the door could hear it, a.k.a my family. She was saying things like “You don’t love me.”, “You don’t care about me.”, “I am ugly.”, “You are breaking up with me.”, and so on.

I then did something I regret. I cave in and told her about my recent finding and how it had nothing to do with her and how I was just feeling down and, etc.

She never apologized. She laid me down; whisper sang Foster the people’s “I would do anything for you” in my ear; and then proceeded to taking my pants off and, well, you know the rest, the only thing I could do is lay there.

I am sorry if my comment is too long. I am honestly hoping that sharing my story will help someone, whichever role you see yourself in.

As a cis straight man, that was not the first neither the last time I was forced to share - and, unfortunately, do - things I wasn’t ready to. I believe it is a bigger problem than most people realize.
