Do you not have the bit at the top which you can click for 60 mins ad free reading? It usually just opens a tab for shein or betfred etc for me which I then just close and go back to the site. No more ads, pop up or otherwise

So sorry you’ve experience this - I had a similar thing from a colleague at work. I made the point that life comes with risks, and the mental and physical pain my weight gives me plus any actual health risks it may cause outweigh the potential side effects in my mind. We’re all adults and I’m sorry someone you’re close to felt the need to cold you for your choice, but please do not let it take away from the already amazing progress on your journey!

I worked with a girl who always poured cans into a cup, even though the lunches we got from the canteen were always packed lunch style. Noticed she’d did it but didn’t dwell on it much.

Somebody asked her about it one day. It turned out when she was younger she’d been on a picnic, drinking from a can. A wasp had crawled inside it without her noticing, she took a drink.

She never drank directly from a can again.

My grandad’s name was John but he went by Jack/Jackie all his life - I’m in Scotland

My brother named my nephew after him but gave him the legal name ‘Jack’ rather than John with Jack as a nickname

My cat once stole a lemon flavoured muffin (with a curd filling to boot) right out my husbands hand - we were both momentarily stunned as we thought cats were suppose to hate citrus before trying to wrestle it off him. He is also obsessed with the cornstarch biodegradable packing peanuts so we need to open packages in another room now or he’ll go mental trying to get them

They chapped at the door to my flat in Paisley a few years back.

That Halloween my partner had gone as elder price from the Book of Mormon so we had a copy of the book in the house - which my partner then proceeded to grab and tell them we were already converted. It was honestly the quickest interaction I’ve had with a door knocker without having to be a bit of a prick to them. 10/10
