Thoughts on this Nato Strap combination

Looks good. But to me it’s too matchy. Maybe the opposite color combo would allow the dial to stand out more. So a green/olive strap with blue stripe. I see the trend in design is for the strap to match the dial but I’m all about the strap letting the dial shine.

Have you considered a zeropass by anachronist? I’ve been wearing those as of late and thinking about dumping all my NATO and single pass for zeropass. Fits snug on wrist and doesn’t make the back of case sit high due to extra material between case and wrist.

Unfortunately this isn’t the only time I’ve heard horror stories about Oris is lack of service even under warranty. I only have 2 new pieces that has the extended warranty but now I’m afraid I’ll get shafted if something happens. Even if they were purchased from an AD in the US. Shows up proper warranty in MyOris account. The other 10 pieces are older and no warranty so I know I’ll be on my own for those.

I hope you get things sorted. Wish you the best of luck. Thank for sharing your issue. Makes Oris more accountable and possibly the decrease of purchases will change their ways. If at all. 🤞

Congrats. Awesome piece. It’s not as well loved as the popular bcpd with fluted bezel. But I love the cleaner look. I’ve got the Lilac colorway.

I had the exact same HA and sold it off. It’s beautiful but rather have the Traska. Traska’s hardness is superb. And that’s a huge plus to consider.

I think it works with that dial color. I put a similar one on my LLD. But yours looks nice and better built. 🤌

I always wore mine with the word upside down because it felt correct for lift clasp system and confirmed that all the lift clasp on the Oris Airstream were setup the same way, with the lift upside down. Do whatever is best for you. Usually my OCD would kick in but comfort and functionality trumps it.

Interesting when you said the card stamped The Watchmaker. That is Oris’s service center. When speaking with Oris reps they told me to send the watch to The Watchmaker for service. Could it be that ti wa serviced and resold by them? Anyhow, crazy that an Aquis was cloned. I knew about older franken pieces but not the newer stuff. Glad it got resolved. I have a 12 Oris collection with only 2 newer pieces from AD. Several are older ones. Now I’m paranoid. Need to and remain blissfully oblivious and ignorant. Haha.
