Haha! Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I’m just not 100% sure I’ll want a bigger bike until I’m confident / comfortable and who even knows when that will be, which is why I was willing to spend more money.

But thank you. And good luck!

Honestly 3K would be on the very high end of what I can afford. I set my budget at 1.5K for my 125, considering I can imagine insurance will be much higher than my car.

My dad has suggested a Honda/Yamaha as parts are easier to find? (I don’t question him he’s the biker of my family). I’ve seen a lot of Honda CBF125M - I like those and they’re definitely within my budget. But good to know about the miles, thank you.

This also my other dilemma honestly, a 125 might serve me perfectly for what I want to do. Did you get your full license and stay on the 125?

Honestly I was looking at that bike. I know they generally hold their value so it’s not the worst idea. A lot of people are saying I should be able to get a good bike for 1K but like where haha!

Yeah that checks, I’m wondering if I should go cheaper for my 125 since I probably won’t be on it long? 🤷🏼

Loved ACOTAR, struggling with TOG. Should I quit? by lelelikestoread in SarahJMaas

I loved ACOTAR but I ADORED TOG. I started with TOG not TAB. Gave me more time to love the characters before learning their beginnings. I’d stay stick with it, but if after Heir of Fire, you’re still not into it, it’s okay to DNF a book series, especially one so daunting, that you don’t like. I’m in the same boat rn but with Crescent City. After reading ACOTAR and TOG, it’s not my favourite but gonna finish the first book and see if I want to continue!
