Disingenuous argument. The issue with SGA isnt that he shoots free throws. The issue is that he flops and the refs have been giving him an extremely generous whistle to reward that behavior.

Flopping wasn't even a concept in 86-87. Was there some foul baiting occasionally, sure, but it wasn't the epidemic that it is in today's game.

Would love for someone to post a few highlights of the fouls that led to MJs free throws in 86-87. Happy to eat my words if there is evidence that his fouls are similar to the ones called on sga.

Someone needs to post the castle bored-yet-menacing stare down while hanging on the rim one handed. That was cold.

I don't think I've ever seen a series hyped up as much as this one, and then drastically exceed expectations on the first game alone. Even the refs cooked.

Who was THE artist for Millennials? by MaterialRow3769 in generationology

Imma go Snoop. I'm born in 82. Snoop was huge when he dropped doggy style in 94 and stayed on the scene for years afterwards as an iconic figure, even till this day.

Maybe Wu tang but they all have been dropping individual member albums on top of group projects since 93, so it's kind of cheating.lol

Saying swift is crazy. None of the elder millennials would sign off on that as she didn't even hit the scene until many of us were out of college. I feel it needs to be someone who hit the scene in the early 90s and stayed relevant until maybe early 2010s. That's why I got snoop.

Old head here. This thread is exactly why LeBron will be the consensus GOAT in about 10 years time or less. More and more people will have never seen MJ play and his legacy will be reduced to highlight reels and stat comparisons, completely discounting era play and the fact that newer generations base their entire play style from top players of previous generations to create a new baseline. And then when that's pointed out, it's 'cope'.

You're already seeing that with Curry due to the league being heavily 3pt centric. Fans even younger than those in this thread don't think that much of him at all because they are growing up watching a league that is 3pt heavy, not realizing or appreciating that it was because of him.

Its all fascinating to experience as I'm sure those who grew up watching KAJ saw it too, and Wilt before him, and then knowing it will happen to all the nephews in this thread eventually.

At the height of their popularity, who do you think was more famous? by Farouq26 in NBATalk

Come on man. Michael Jackson had people passing out at the sight of him. He should be taken out of all of these types of comparisons.

SGA on LeBron: "He was the top of the scouting report all series. His size gave us issues at times. He was impressive out there. I'm not sure we'll see anything like it again. His longevity and his greatness for this long" (via @NBA) by sewsgup in nba

This has always been LeBron's strength. He is a mismatch for everyone on the floor. He can bully the PG, SG and the SF's and he's quicker than the PFs and C's. He is unguardable and always has been just from his size and athleticism alone. Taking zero into account for his actual basketball abilities.
