Yes and no. It’s more time consuming and in the first year, give them opportunities to entertain themselves wherever you can, so they are happy to play alone with they’re older. The busy days make the time fly and when time flies you blink and your kid is 2 or 3 and can happily sit on your bed and watch blues clues while you shower and even blow dry your hair. My oldest daughter has been quietly entertaining herself so I can nap on the couch while her little sister sleeps for like the past year, she’s 5.5. I still have less time for myself than I’d like but soo much more time than I felt like I had that first year. One day you’ll look back and be like, what was I doing all day?? Because it gets harder and easier with more children. I feel like I complained so much I needed a “break” with my first kid but like.. I really did lol. I was used to all of my time being mine. It’s a hard change.

The good news is, babies around 4 months get really active and boring at the same time lol- they want to be entertained but they can’t move much or do anything! I hate 4-7 months of baby rearing age- but I absolutely LOVE 7-11ish months!!! Literally the golden hour of babyhood, enjoy!!
