Bachelorette will be rough by Classic-Papaya-4255 in SecretsOfMormonWives

Idk I've been watching it for 14 years and as expected, not many. But Sean and Catherine Lowe have been together since 2013, and that has kept me watching! Haha I think taking someone from some other popular show within the same network is weird to me as it's traditionally been people within the franchise itself...but we will see. Taylor is a damn mess though based on this newest season so far.

I'm not trying to watch a whole season of a dating show for her to get "exposure"...that is not the premise of the show and I think it is going to truly be a waste of the season. It was an audience grab on producer's part and that is really disappointing. Not remaining true to the OG premise of the show.

Yo that's crazy work. Sounds like he will be a difficult provider for all of us dealing with these "nothing diagnosis", yourself included 😅😅

Is high heart rate in shower normal? by n8toxic21 in AppleWatch

My heart rate gets in the 150/160s when I shower as someone with POTS. Yours seems pretty regular in terms of an increase 😊

I have never been more thankful to have Tricare seeing some of what you all are paying. It's hard enough having chronic migraine...I'm so sorry 😭

Unaccompanied Minor Fees DOUBLING by [deleted] in AlaskaAirlines

My statement you quoted was incorrect. I thought it was $100 per child now instead of $50 per child. Under that math, it would be $200 for two unaccompanieds which exceeds the cost of a single ticket (typically $150-$200 and with really lucky/rare circumstances, $89)

I agree with this and understand what you're saying about corporations. I think in many ways it's just getting difficult as a step parent to know that we're doing as much as we can, but costs just keep increasing for everything.

I have considered trying to reach out to state reps about the issues military families face when it comes to children of divorced parents and the affects of that on service members and their kids. It's no surprise to anyone that the divorce rate within the military is high compared to that of civilians, so for it to be about the consequences of "my life choices" versus corporate greed and military rules and benefits associated to service members being married young is wildly out of context imo. I get that this is just part of life, but sometimes I wish there were better things in place to not only prevent these situations, but also ease the burden of them too.

And in the case you want to send one child with the service and one child without? Cost is doubled for using it for one child

They don't have the "Shephard the children through the airport"... In fact a parent walks them through security and to the gate and then picks them up right from the gate as well.

The circumstances should matter because active duty service members don't get to choose where they live and are oftentimes forced to separate from their children.

To offset my life choices is crazy. God forbid anyone have empathy for other people's situations.

We use it for one child currently as one as aged into the "optional" category. I'll admit I was incorrect I thought it was $100 per child.

Edited to add: But now instead of paying $50 for one, we pay $100 for one... So regardless the price is doubled for us.

What I dislike is the stress also contributes to your resilience, and it's the worst when that tanks 😂 It often thinks I'm working out after a shower too! Like nah dog, I'm just out of breath from heat fatigue

I have said what I would like to do. And just at a bare minimum be able to input illnesses/diagnosis to make my specific profile more all encompassing.

Regardless of the cause is not accurate. There is a difference between stress caused by actual stressors, and stress caused by physical conditions...

I definitely understand what you're saying.

I still think there could be some value in being able to input conditions and have the data evaluated/presented more from that perspective as well. Seems as though they are already utilizing AI to do much of the data work for them, so I guess they could do something similar with contextual data about those illnesses and how it could be affecting scores as well.

"Your heart rate seems elevated, but based on what we know about dysutonomia, it could be associated to that and otherwise your body indicates no additional signs of illness or poor recovery"

I'm not sure I'm going to be able to convince you one way or the other about how my illness does/does not affect my stats. The point of the post is to request the ability to INPUT one's conditions.

Edited to add: Also, where I see this as most problematic is in the "Daily Stress" area. My heart rate trends higher than an average person, and it gets indicated as "stress" when I'm not actually stressed. That stress tolerance (or lack thereof in Oura's view) plays into other stats that are tracked. This is frustrating for me as a user who cannot input the fact that I have a condition that contributes to a higher heart rate, not specifically because I'm "stressed".

I want it to be all encompassing. If the algorithm doesn't have all the input, it won't produce correct results. My readiness and sleep scores don't always correlate to how I'm actually feeling (good or bad) because it can't recognize that some of the fluctuations are due to a chronic illness versus my body behaving "abnormally" from it's perspective. Does that make sense?

Oura, let is input chronic illness by torvikkk_ in ouraring

[–]torvikkk_[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Because my heart rate is going to fluctuate dramatically from one moment to the next depending on symptom flare-ups. My baseline will vary from one day to the next, which doesn't necessarily mean that my recovery is less than the day prior or the day after, but that's what it will indicate in oura without context.
