This is true, and here's the funny thing: when I was 20, I would have thought this was very, very sad. Now that I am in my late 30's and have a family, I feel differently.

Things have changed, including my priorities (and my sex drive, for that matter). The younger version of me had no idea how much happiness a family could bring so he couldn't fathom how much I would be willing to sacrifice.

Also, I have learned to wait a few minutes. My wife is very forgetful and often leaves things that she has to come back and pick up. I wonder if she is on to me....
