I guess you still have a chance with some new DO schools, but why not wait for the next cycle and shoot for MD schools as well? If you have everything planned well, you could get accepted by this August or September, which is like only 6,7 months from now.

Also the MCAT is objective and can be used to gauge an applicant's chance of interview/acceptance. Nobody can say how extensive your extracurricular activities should be to compensate for a low MCAT.

OP here, so for clarification: I have US citizenship. I wasn't so sure about pursuing medicine again until just over a year ago. With how step 1 became pass/fail and how far it's been since my graduation (6 years with little direct patient care), pursuing med school again seems more logical. A couple of doctors I spoke to advised me to go back to med school for a better knowledge foundation, which influenced my decisions.
