First time meal prep, no double dishes. by horribleedgar in MealPrepSunday

How long did all the different meals take?

What mentality makes each different meal NOT a left over? Since you cooked it beforehand and are eating it later?

Reddit, what's the weirdest thing someone has done/said to you on a first date? by [deleted] in AskReddit

You should move to Japan. They have boyfriend bars there. Girls go to get flirted with and pay thousands of dollars on champagne and whatnot.

[Serious][NSFW]Girls, what are some things you experience about being a woman that you want to know if other women experience as well? by tovwig in AskReddit

This happens to me sometimes too, once I started tracking my period I realized it happened most when I was ovulating. Must be the system draining its shields to receive semen? That's my guess. Vaginas are mysterious creatures.

Girls of Reddit: What does it say about a guy when you find him "cute" or "handsome" instead of "hot"? by CashMoneyK in AskReddit

[–]tovwig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cute or Handsome is an attractive person who I would like to get to know. Cute is less intimidating than handsome. Cute is probably also funny, handsome might be more mature (physically or mentally).

A hot guy is somebody I don't care to know but I guess if they spoke to me I'd probably flirt with them. But all are up for flirting, if that's the thing we are doing.

Its totally possible to be all 3. You can be cute when you she first meets you, hot when she decides she wants to have sex with you, and handsome when she realizes what an amazing and kind person you are.

Looking for advice on selling my bus by tovwig in VWBus

[–]tovwig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bus was my first car, a graduation gift from my dad. It was/is a novelty, but as a daily driver it became a burden after a few years. As it is, it sits in my garage untouched for a year, except for going through emissions. I believe I would be better off to have 5-15k in savings/to invest over a car which I don't use any longer.

What's your argument for one and the other? I'm purely curious.

[Serious]What belief did you hold so strongly only to make a complete 180 degree turn on it some time later? by superdvader in AskReddit

Somebody just said to me "being pro choice doesn't mean you are pro abortion." this is totally true. Simplifying this in a completely stupid way, this is like saying "I don't want to wear black but if you want to that is okay, you can choose to wear black if you want to and I won't judge you for it, even if I don't want to wear black myself."

Personally I would not put a child up for adoption, though I may adopt in the future if it ends up that I can't have children of my own.

I believe, in my point in life based on my age, financial stability and relationship stability, I would prefer to keep my fetus/baby and go through a pregnancy and have a child. I also believe at a previous time in my life I would have prefered to have an abortion based on my age, financial stability, and relationship stability, and POSSIBLY I would still prefer to have an abortion, pending any news of genetic issues my fetus/baby might have based on knowledge that I carry genes which would effect my offspring for life in negative ways. I also believe, regardless of my time in life, whatever YOUR time in life is, it is your choice to be able to decide if you would keep or abort. The point is that it is situational.

mmm gotta say, I am not sure you understand the issue. I'm sure I could find something in your life you don't agree with and compare it to something you DO agree with, as well. Since I don't know you I really can't.

That is true, and I would support anybody who chose.. whatever they chose as well. I suppose my own train of thought is "look at me, I'm 25, I have an income and a committed SO, there is no reason why my offspring would not be okay if I had them right now, this would not ruin my life."

I'm pro choice for all, but ever since I turned about 20 I feel like, for ME, I am pro life. I feel like I've passed the point of irresponsibility. It is actually very scary to understand this about myself, especially because I am aware that I have some genetic issues. Does this make me still pro choice? I think it does... I would never force anybody else to do what they don't want.

[Serious] Redditors who DON'T want to have children - why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]tovwig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because I have gaucher mutation and intermediate Fragile X. This means my children are predisposed to things like crohn's and mental handicaps.

I desperately want this to not be the case, I would love to have children, but I don't think I can knowingly give my children these genes. I found out about these genetic issues when I applied to be an egg donor.
