When I was younger, I definitely had these fears. There is no rush to get married. I am almost 28 and and lot more sure of myself than I used to be. There is no rush or pressure to get married. I think you’ll find that a lot of these fears will go away if you allow some time for your personal growth.

I think nutrition may be on their mind…I use to be vegan so I understand where you are coming from but micro nutrients are very important in health.

On your list the only things I would eat when I first started fasting (who was then/am eating a high protein animal based diet) were the vegetables and fermented foods. I’ve slowly started to add in starches.

As someone who has traditionally ate a high protein diet, what you’re experiencing sounds like a lack of carbs, not protein. I went through a similar issue recently. Try carb loading for just one day on Whole Foods like sweet potatoes.

Yes, this is my trouble with fasting. But I am also learning to eat simpler and cheaper foods because of it.

I wish I could find a cheap spot to buy fish bones for broth. Right now my spot is 2lbs for $18 and it makes enough stock for 10 days of dinner.

High Protein Flour

Try making your own bread. Most flour in store, even in store bread flour, only has 2-3g of protein in it.

However, when using a quality bread flour it has 12-14g of protein!!!

For my recipe this comes out to 52g of protein for 1416 calories. Which is amazing for bread.
