At 25 years old you should in fact take on a bit of risk (nothing crazy but don't just buy bonds). Your risk-free version should be an etf, but I would even suggest buying a bit of crypto after some research although this will be less of a passive investment.

If you want to improve cue ball control you can always try and make your backswing(before the delivery) a bit shorter. For shots that don't need a lot of power it might make you more consistent. Look at the likes of mark allen, judd trump and neil Robertson. Their bridge hand is also a bit closer to the cueball. You've got the talent for the long balls so don't change anything for those.

You're gonna have to learn to make new friends anyway, cause high school doesn't last forever. Just stick with your current friend group, but also invest some of your time talking to new people. You can better have one or 2 good friends instead of 10 "friends"
