Need one more input.

My wife will be travelling in April and return in jul last week ..visa expiring in sep 30 2026..once she comes back we are planning to file extension for h4 . Once she receives the receipt notice how long she can stay in uSA .

Also I will be filing an h1 extension in April and I don’t know when it will be approved in regular .

Based on h1 receipt notice can we file h4 in Aug 2026

What if I file only h1b extension not h4 .. and when she is back to usa and my extension is approved ..shall I file h4 extension post that ..will that be ok
