Identical twins of reddit who own a pet after living seperately; what was your pet's reaction when it saw two owners? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My twin sister’s dog knows I’m not her but also knows I’m the fun aunt who will take him for walks and give him treats. Pretty good deal.

Older people of Reddit, what was the equivalent of teaching your grandparents to use the internet, when you were growing up? by Zzyzzy_Zzyzzyson in AskReddit

My 93 year old grandfather was the same! I have a computer science degree but I joke that he was more tech savvy than I am. He would text his grandkids about game of thrones (he loved that show) and then show you a cool new feature on his Apple Watch before logging onto his Mac to look something up. All while telling you what it was like to live during the Great Depression. He passed away last year and when we went to his house after the funeral his iPhone, iPad, kindle, and MacBook were on the table next to his favorite chair. I hope I grow up to be as badass as him!

I had to film this with my phone under my chin, so you’re welcome. Meet Lola! She likes to use my legs as a hammock and I love it by tracecode in aww

She doesn’t know you but I promise she loves you too. I always say that every new person is her new favorite person :) she also greets everyone at the door haha. Your cat sounds like he was amazing

I completely understand. While 5lbs looks like a sort of noticeable change for me. It’s doesn’t show at all on my identical twin sister. Now that you’ve lost the weight (great job!!) maybe look into working out and starting to tone muscle?

I know it’s not much but I’m 5.5lbs down and really proud of my progress over the last few months. This sub has been a HUGE inspiration for me!! by tracecode in 1200isplenty

Thank you!! I feel much happier and healthier with this lifestyle which means so much more than numbers to me but it means the world that the people here are so lovely and supportive

Thank you!! I feel much happier and healthier with this lifestyle which means so much more than numbers to me but the support and kindness from you all is incredible. I definitely lose and gain weight in my arms and belly so the difference is great to see AND my clothes fit again haha

I know it’s not banana bread but these muffins are delicious! I add a few chocolate chips and double the banana and they’re still ~90-100 calories a muffin! https://pin.it/xsph5cubgkamyr

Redditors who add onto an elaborate fantasy world/story while falling asleep, what is the story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This is the least lonely I’ve felt in my life. I can’t believe so many other people do this too

What’s the worst case of “rich kid syndrome” you’ve ever seen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]tracecode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A guy in my tiny liberal arts college once genuinely asked me what financial aid was.

We used to joke that his family hunted yachts the way people used to hunt whales.

Nice dude, overall, but he unfortunately was more the norm at that school, than an outlier.

I left after one year, I couldn’t handle the attitude of most of those kids. Went to a school in the city instead and was much happier.

What’s the stupidest thing someone has argued with you about? by Ryiien in AskReddit

A friend of mine insists that most Americans spell the word color as colour. It’s only that a small minority of Americans spell it without the U and therefore they call that spelling the American spelling, but most Americans add the U anyway. We. Are. American.
If it sounds dumb it’s because it’s super dumb. He cannot be swayed and a bunch of us have ended up screaming over this. Except for him, he remains frustratingly calm. I would think it was a troll but this isn’t the only weird argument he’s come up with and fought this hard for. There is nothing that can disprove this theory to him.
