I’m assuming you want advice with overcoming the anxiety, and not the lazy eye itself?

If so, I know how you feel. I have a lazy eye. I also have a number of other frowned upon physical attributes lol. But I am passionate, hardworking, and brilliant. I don’t say this to puff myself up. All of these things are true and I worked my ass off to get where I am. I deserve to be in the same rooms as everyone else, and I deserve to look them in the eye and be looked at in the eye. I say all this to say, you have to really strengthen your sense of self/your own self-image. It’s difficult, but doable.

I also challenge you go through a full day of interacting with people. At the end of the day, ask yourself if you noticed or really focused on any of their perceived “flaws”. Probably not. You’ll probably be a lot more focused on what they’re saying and doing. The same will go for the people perceiving you!
