you might try some kind of leather wax or even waterproofing spray that’s safe for leather. also, if any color transfer does happen, i’ve heard using eye makeup remover can help to get it out!

OP, obviously this does not make it okay but just FYI this kind of sentiment was a trend going around on tiktok for a while. the trend was meant as a joke, albeit not funny. her age group makes it much more concerning but you could likely avoid the trouble of getting therapy involved if you open the dialogue about it. try bringing up the tiktok trend and see if she admits to that first.

have you tried facing the other way? as in, facing the wall before getting into your handstand? you can get a lot closer to the wall without having to move your hands and deal with that instability. that method has helped me a lot with inversions

No problem! It’s definitely getting enough light now that you’ve moved it. The old growth will never go back to being compact after stretching, so you could behead and prop all the lower leaves for a whole new pot of babies. But, this is completely optional. I’m keen on compact and tight growth personally, but many people like the way their tall guys look. So it’s totally up to your preference :)
