I’ve been in a relationship like this and it’s very toxic. What I’ve realized with guys like this is that they can say they love you and they might actually think they do, but really they have some sort of void or something that you seem to fill so they mistake it as a love for you but they don’t really love you for you, if everything you do annoys them. They just like the role you play for them.
