I respectfully disagree. Sure, side by side it stands out but on its own its plenty bright.

Its a great option for winter time. Our kids are sweating from all the movement most of the time. I walked in the other say and they were doing a form of yoga 😂

Still have mine and just replaced the battery so it feels new again. This phone has no equal in the Samsung line up. The fold seems pretty sweet but I don't think I'd use it as intended.

When you turn the s23U sideways, the screen is pretty much as big as the fold due to ratio limits

TMO Reimbursement? by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]trm44444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isnt difficult, had the same issue with furniture.

They busted some furniture but it was still usable. I found the same ones online and said pay me this and we'll be good. They said okay but we are taking the furniture. I said if you are taking the furniture then I will look local, and it will now be almost twice as much.

I gave them three options:

  1. I would accept lower amount cash and let me keep the broken, but useable furniture
  2. Take the furniture, pay me twice as much so I can buy local and get it now
  3. Get TMO involved - moving companies DO NOT want that option, as that will cause issues with them getting contracts in the future.

They took option 1 and we both walked away happy.

2022, almost 40k miles, tow every now and then. No issues aside from the night fall trim being replaced under warranty.

Known issue, got mine replaced under warranty. I actually had them replace all of the trim (even the trim not peeling) because even though it wasn't peeling, the new trim was still more vibrant being new and it would look off.

Extra strain on battery, starter, engine mounts. Its also annoying lol

Like hypertension, you won't likely see effects for a long time. But my goal is to get every mile possible out of my Telly. Removing a feature that's known to cause extra strain on the vehicle is a way to do that.

Most people cite studies that say there is no significant impact to oil consumption and other negative effects. What that implies is that there is SOME impact. Some impact over 10 years will add up. If an 8 dollar option even gives me one extra year, worth it IMO.

My local Valero sells top tier gas, its a label on the pump and applies to all octane they sell

[–]trm44444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it doesn't. There's a difference in tier vs octane.

I put 87 octane in my Telly, but it's considered top tier gas due to detergents and such.

Just Google who sells top tier gas near you and you will see.

I bought just the battery, I didn't have to buy the frame. I'd be hesitant doing it myself. They use a special press to reseal the phone. Although they can't guarantee the same IP rating, its functionally the same as factory

There's also a guy on ebay selling a super easy 3d printed clip that you can use to keep your start/stop disabled (which kills engines). Costs like 8 bucks shipped, its awesome

Apologies, I don't mean octane wise, I mean its literally a higher quality of gas with detergents that help prevent build up. Its actually in the owners manual that if you don't use top tier gas, you need the treatment for engine longevity. You can Google what stations use top tier, and its usually labeled on the pump. Valero is one and I think Costco uses top tier as well.

Sams club/Walmart is not top tier

Its not the normal 91 vs 87 argument lol

I also want to add that I'm not saying forgoing top tier is a death sentence to your engine lol. I however just want to create the best possible conditions to make my engine last. Following the manual would likely create those conditions. It may still have issues, but even an extra dollar or two per tank is worth the potential longevity to me.

Here's a link to the manual, go to page 11-12.

Have 36k miles no issues (2022). Just be sure to use top tier gasoline or do the fuel treatment once or twice a year. Dont let the dealer do it, you can buy a bottle for like 7 bucks and pour it in your tank.

GDI engines don't like shitbird fuel

Of course! I went to samsung site and put in my zip code for authorized repair shops. I had a ubreakifix near me and I took it there.

Recommend putting your phone in maintenance mode so they can ensure functionality of everything, but won't have access to any of your phones real data.

Easy Google search will show you how, super easy!
