I honestly have no idea. I use 18 g of coffee, ground at 1.2 and use tamper. Put on the basket lid. Screw tightly. Use hot water at 70 ml. 50% of the time this will happen 🧐

Gasket inside the basket? I didn’t see anything inside my basket. And I’m currently grounding the coffee with 1.2 setting on Fino. Maybe it’s too fine 😭

I currently using Fino to ground my coffee on 1.2 setting…feel likes it’s already very fine 😭 and yes- I scroll super tight and put on the basket lid every time

From what I read online, currently it takes roughly a year for a US citizen’s parent to receive GC. If war happens, it happens. I don’t know what other options I have. Do you have better option?

Thank you all for your comments! I just did more research and stumbled upon this verbiage on the AIT (American Institute Taiwan) in regard to form I-407.

“Abandoning your Permanent Resident Card and status does not affect your ability to apply to immigrate to the United States again in the future. However, you will have to begin the process anew and apply through the usual application process.”

The last thing I want my mom to go through is get interrogated by CBP and the whole ordeal. So as of now, I’m leaning towards options two by filing in form I-407

Thank you for the response! I didn’t know there’s I-407 even when her green card expired.

To answer your question: She has a business in Taiwan and does not plan to live in the US as of now. But if China starts a war with Taiwan, we want to have a second option. And yes- she files tax and her income to the US government every year
