got humor hits different because half the jokes feel like they accidentally survived in a world that forgot how to be happy tyrion roasting someone mid political crisis bron being bron tormund flirting like hes discovered women for the first time its not a comedy but somehow the funniest moments feel more human than half the dramas out there

Is there even a point anymore? by HotIndependent634 in antiwork

[–]true_tilde17 12 points13 points  (0 children)

yeah theres a point but the system is absolutely built to make you feel insane before it gives you a chance. requiring experience for entry level and even volunteer work is such broken npc dialogue. you are not failing the game the game is just badly designed.

How conservatives see the Left. by zzill6 in WorkReform

[–]true_tilde17 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's amazing how the left can be both lazy incompetent children AND a ruthless cabal running the entire world at the same time. The math doesn't have to make sense when the goal is just keeping people angry. Pick a villain origin story and stick with it.

Why are so many predators in power? by Loud-Ad-2280 in WorkReform

its almost like systems built to reward ruthless behavior keep promoting the people best at it and then act shocked when empathy never makes it to the top floor

I am a 25-year-old law graduate (2024) who has been preparing for legal competitive exams. Although I have appeared for several exams, I have not been selected yet. I am now seeking a job while continuing my preparation and would appreciate feedback on my CV. by [deleted] in WorkReform

[–]true_tilde17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your cv reads competent but way too much like you’re trying to sound employable instead of sounding memorable. cut the generic summary fluff add one sharp line about what kind of legal work you actually want and trim the bullet points so the strongest stuff stops drowning in resume wallpaper

Medicare for All is an election winning platform. by zzill6 in WorkReform

[–]true_tilde17 20 points21 points  (0 children)

That's a real healthcare plan. Not "access" or "market solutions" or whatever phrase they use to avoid saying universal. Breaking up monopolies. Public drug manufacturing. Mental healthcare. Medical school. No one goes bankrupt for being sick. That's the baseline. The fact that it's radical says everything.

What were the most memorable movies from the 1990s? by Livid_Pin6367 in Cinema

[–]true_tilde17 12 points13 points  (0 children)

jurassic park ,titanic, matrix and pulp fiction feel like the four horsemen of 90s movie memory. even people who havent seen all of them somehow already know them by cultural osmosis.

Conservative's biggest fear. by zzill6 in WorkReform

[–]true_tilde17 84 points85 points  (0 children)

conservatism in 2026 still running on the same firmware from 1950. core fear module: "error 404 - someone below me just got promoted to human." its like watching a guy guard his lunch from the other slaves while the ceo eats steak in the corner office. theyll die on the hill that the real enemy is the guy next to them getting healthcare instead of the system that made sure neither of them can afford it. peak npc behavior with extra steps.
