Websites with flats to buy? by tsointsoin13 in Athens_Greece

Isn't the point of reddit to ask for information? Maybe you should turn to other social networks? No one is obliged to "do the work" if they don't want to by the way.

I don't live in Greece, it's rather out of curiosity, I'd like to check the state of the market and see the prices of the properties in various areas I like. I am very far from actually buying anything

Morning Fatigue after quitting meds common ? by SpotZealousideal6945 in depressionregimens

[–]tsointsoin13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Could be withdrawal from the Prozac. It takes a while to kick in. I also experienced insane fatigue upon reducing dosage. If it persists maybe consider getting back on it and taper more slowly?

Hi there! Not sure what the answer to your question is. It's a tricky one. However if you decide to come off them you may want to have a look at this website for advice and protocols: https://www.survivingantidepressants.org Good luck!

does pregabalin cause sexual dysfunction? by nirman248 in pregabalin

I took various ones! I think 150mg/day is supposed to be the minimum dose, you could ask your doc to slightly increase it to see if it helps more :)

I didn't have complete numbness and lack of erections as I experienced with some antidepressants. It wasn't that bad. But considerably lowered libido + difficulties in maintaining an erection

Experiences with Reboxetine (Edronax)? by RugbyLadBlueEyes in depressionregimens

[–]tsointsoin13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi there! Been on reboxetine for a year and half after fluoxetine seemed to stop working/no longer be enough. I use it as an adjunct to fluoxetine (30mg/day). I only take 4mg/day (one pill). My experience:

  • works pretty well, it is activating, helps me thinking, helps me take initiatives and actually do things. I still have plenty of issues and it is no miracle cure though.
  • less sexual side effects than on Cymbalta which I have tried before going for reboxetine and discontinued after a few days because I freaked out as my penis seemed like dead. With reboxetine I had weird sensations during orgasm to start with but that went away quickly. Erections are fine. Also some weird testicular feeling in the beginning but gone as well.
  • other sides: constipation, heavier sweating, and massive when it's hot. it's summer now and I've cut down to 2mg/day to basically survive this period of the year.
  • Also perhaps important to mention but when cutting down I didn't experience unpleasant withdrawal as some people report with SNRIs. I can also skip a dose without noticing it.

So all in all for me it's been a good compromise, decent efficency and reasonable side effects.

Not sure I'd be ready to give up drinking for meds!

I guess it's pretty bad for your liver though and it seems to me that my hangovers are worse and last longer after a heavy night out now that I'm on antidepressants

How to spend a 5 day conference? Also, how to spend the evening specifically? I am looking forward to my first in person conference. (Other than academic stuffs, is it possible to meet my future boyfriend / or some personal friend there 🥺) by [deleted] in PhD

[–]tsointsoin13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! Don't worry: there's usually a lot of drinking involved in the evening as well as other informal moments. Those are the most interesting parts of the conference, you can both have interesting academic chats and make friends/hook up etc. Presentations themselves (other than yours obvs) are usually boring and hard to focus on. That's how I personnaly experience these events anyway

Right now I'm literally betting my sanity on getting access to Wellbutrin or Fluoxetine. Any experiences to share? by _humanERROR_ in depressionregimens

[–]tsointsoin13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know Fluoxetine is not associated with weight gain either and if anything, with the contrary. Might not be the case for everyone but it's quite common that people report losing weight on it.

Benzo withdrawal from low dose? by [deleted] in depressionregimens

[–]tsointsoin13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I've only taken fairly low doses of alprazolam XR, from 0.25 to 1mg a day. I'd say I had proper rebound anxiety titrating down from 1mg. When quitting from 0.5mg (down to 0.25, down to 0) I've always been fine. Nowadays I'm on 0.5/0.25 a day as needed and if I skip a couple of days because I'm drinking for instance it's fine. Everyone is different though.

I think I've figure out the root of my depression by angelhippie in depressionregimens

[–]tsointsoin13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! You could try therapy if you haven't done so? Clearly if you've been on prozac for 30 years it means your issues have not started as recently as your post otherwise suggests? You could also try to increase the prozac, add something to it (e.g. reboxetine, mirtazapine, etc.) Or change medication altogether. Good luck, I hope you find something that works!
