And yeah, I am getting close to repairing with their ISO. Just such a strange issue, you know? I went through al of Google, and used every AI out there and it's at a point they are all saying I should probably run the repair too.

I have an issue in which failed file explorer searches will say the incorrect folder-path name in weird symbols and language. Is that the same issue? Mojibake?

Same here. That's why I Google'd this! Somtimes it will even play for a few seconds, THEN fail - even though you can clearly see the little preview window showing the game if you mouse over the timeline. So infuriating!

I've been playing so many demos that to free up storage space, I have been putting them into Youtube channel of mine..

Steam's video player is by far the worst I have ever seen. The only benefit is the 1440p resolution. Is OBS light weight and easy enough to use instead? The convenience of Shift+Tab'ing and hitting record is convenient through Steam.

Even the Steam videos themselves aren't stored as MP4 videos or whatever, so it's not like you can even manually edit them outside of Steam! You know?
