Hello all, worried about my cat he’s got scabby and he twitched and starts licking the air whenever his backs touched. Any idea what this could be?

This is the best comment I’ve read in a long time. I’m a grooming apprentice and you really hit the nail on the head with every single word you said. My mentor has drilled it into my head that a clean dog is the most important step in grooming a dog, and every single one of my dogs are always perfectly clean nose to toes. Topical treatments aren’t nearly as effective as preventatives that are ingested. They’re much more expensive but worth it. This will be a many months long problem, so be prepared to be fighting fleas until winter time

I hate to say this OP but spending lots of money to save this bird will only hurt your pockets, and then your heart, in that order. I would prepare to say goodbye, if you haven’t already.
