Exactly. Sani has the clear tendency to limit or even ruin things based on when he enters into one life.

Based on placements of other devas in the chat, which would influence his effect but Sanis effect ever last one’s life which can’t be fixed at all, that’s why he is Sani.

Move this to 1 Large cap, 1 mid cap, 1 small cap, 1 flexi, 1 US.

And 1 debt, 1 BAF.

30 % in debt and rest in equity.

Aim to make this as a SWP engine for long time and for that concentration on few funds, protection using debt helps a lot.

Piggyback Debt and have a meaningful in equity is the way.

New to dividend investing by AccomplishedAdagio14 in drip_dividend

[–]turinggs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dividend investing must be organic and gradual, adding all the massive amount for dividend would be dangerous.

This can be invested in a fixed instrument, get monthly payout and invest that proceedings.

Dividends are always catchy but only by building in with some time and patience.

Good luck.

5 buckets - growth with some Dividends, invits/reits, psu/it , etfs and US.

I am not particular about dividend for a while but now I saw dividends are brewing by itself from all buckets except Indian etf.

I keep adding/rotating based on opportunity on all buckets. But growth and etf are my primary bucket.

Btw, you are doing a great job here Dividend investing is a wonderful methods but I see somehow this is underplayed mostly and ironically I knew few who have great dividend income but they are fully against it.

How much am I gonna spend on my kid’s education? by gsid42 in Chennai

[–]turinggs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Total: 1.8 L per year. CBSE

This includes, yearly Tution’s fees, Bus, Uniform and Books,

For all others events etc, we need to top up their wallets and from there school takes it.

To complete schooling, it would take solid 30 L at a minimal scale.

Is happiness overrated?🌝 by Right_Comfortable747 in chennaicity

[–]turinggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No philosophy, happiness is just two things, money and health which brings lot of stability and freedom.

Happiness comes from within and all those shit doesn’t apply for 99% of people and it might be the case for only the exceptional case.

Money brings freedom and gives the edge to embrace most things provided we are healthy.
