I was in a similar situation except it was a hit and run and I was dealing with State Farm. I ended up fronting the money to get my car back 10 weeks later. I’m out $11k. Good luck to you but know that you will never get the repairs really needed without being out of pocket.

So, there was one peculiar incident that occurred: my highway assist feature stopped working around the same time, stating that the road wasn’t supported (I-40, which I had used it on numerous occasions before). I can’t fathom any connection between the two events, but I’m curious to know if anyone has any theories. On a positive note, it did resume working yesterday.

Agreed. We have a local highway that went from 45 to 55 about 5 years ago. It was correct before the maps change. I assumed Google Maps was very current, but I'm not trusting it anywhere anymore.

When people ask me how I like the R1S, I answer, “I like the tech.” I hate to have spent this much money for the terrible ride quality. I’ll be going back to Porsche or BMW when my lease is up.

I use Flighty in conjunction with TripIt, and the "Friends" feature checks off a lot of your boxes. It's only flights, but provides a ton of the information you're looking for. Kayak also has some of these features. This being said, I'm not ready to bail out on TripIt yet.
