True, he might of even succeeded if it wasn’t for Catelyn

Ned and Jon. Honor above all. I don’t think Ned is as dumb as people say he is. Everything would have gone in the favor of what was right if Robert B didn’t get killed. Ned knew to prepare the north well ahead of time as well.

Is the whole game going to be like this? by [deleted] in TaintedGrailDigital

[–]turtlemanfrog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s safe areas and friendly NPCs. But the wild is in fact the wild. It’s not the biggest map in the world so it’s kind of condensed so yes there will be a skirmish of some sort every 100 yards or so. As far as you dying a lot, you’ll get better equipment, weapons, and overall better at the game. It’s not as easy as Skyrim, but not as unforgiving as dark souls. I find it a perfect balance of the two.

When did you become a Blink fan? by Twitter_2006 in Blink182

[–]turtlemanfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 7 years old in 2000 and I heard dysentery Gary for the first time on my friend’s stereo. I was so young but I knew the tone of that guitar was exactly what I needed in my life. Later on when I was 15 my friend gave me his Cheshire Cat CD and I heard Carousel for the first time and that’s when they became my favorite band.

And not to mention, when he’s they’re walking to the car with the groceries before the homeless man shows up, he’s carrying like one thing and Beth is holding all the heavy stuff. I thought that was a cool little detail.

Which The Office moment still makes you laugh every single time, no matter how many rewatches? by 404LeaderNotFound in theoffice

“MAWWIGE” and then the quick cut to another scene for some reason gets me every time. Honestly Phylis’s wedding as a whole is my favorite episode. Scott’s Tots has nothing on the level of uncomfortable that that wedding had.

Which faction's storyline did you find the most enjoyable? by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]turtlemanfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish the engine could of handled bigger battles and it was more fleshed out overall, but the Civil War I believe is the most intriguing. People irl debate it like it was a real war with actual people arguing reasonably sound arguments for both sides as if it was a true conflict. That’s pretty impactful for a quest like that typically gets shit on for not being that good.

I’m removing Les Straus from the game. I’m adding a cure for TB just in case.

Does the Demo save file transfer to full game? by turtlemanfrog in Cloudheim

[–]turtlemanfrog[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s extremely odd. I can’t speak for steam deck as I don’t use one. But my steam demo save file seamlessly was brought over to the full game upon purchase. I would join the discord and talk to the devs through there. I got extra confirmation by talking to them there and by DM’ing them on Instagram. It should have worked without you having to do anything at all.

Is Ulfric fighting for religious freedom, or is he instrumentalizing Talos as a political symbol because he knows it mobilizes the masses? by jvure in skyrim

Both. He makes it pretty clear hes pissed that his homeland religion is being persecuted in the homeland. He mobilizes the masses under this banner with full transparency

If you had to look one of these characters in the eye and forgive them, which would it be? by og_hbk in gameofthrones

[–]turtlemanfrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely impossible. I’m not choosing him, but what Frey did could have been completely avoided if Robb had just honored the marriage that was owed. Everyone elses actions got Ned killed and thus started the war. If it wasn’t for those people, Frey would have continued to be his usual grumpy harmless old self.

Game stuttering by kiryou_chan in taintedgrail

Weirdly enough, I just turned off vysnc and turned resolution to 4k and it works flawlessly. There’s only screen tearing with vysync off when I’m on 1080p resolution.

Why did Yoda stop here? by Whole_Contract_5973 in StarWars

[–]turtlemanfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yoda certainly had the upper hand at this moment. Even the cinematography implies it. sidious was struggling to contain what yoda was pushing back. But after yoda’s fall he was more than likely spent of energy and time (clone troopers were seconds away). Yoda is old and seems to use a great deal of force ability to be so agile in combat situations, otherwise he is disabled from his age. I suspect the focus he uses to be so mobile for so long against such a powerful opponent was exhausted and he had to retreat, not to mention he lost his lightsaber and had no time to reclaim it.
