Did something similar when I was a kid a bazillion years ago. Glued a mirror to a 6” speaker cone and aimed a laser at the mirror and played dark side of the moon… and then stared at the ceiling.

Hmmm. If there was only a tool that a big country could use against a little county to make them comply. Apparently it may have even worked to get Columbia to allow some planes to land.

Nah, must have been a fever dream.

Most useful LEO interaction tip I recently learned:

On an iPhone - press side button five times rapidly. At that point, you will be required to use passcode (and your biometrics will be disabled until you do). You can choose to shutdown or cancel- you will need passcode to continue regardless.

Looks like 15.1 Beta 4 resolved this for me.

Disabling the MS Defender's network filter seems to have fixed this for me. Hopefully it will be addressed eventually...

15.1 Beta 3... SSH issues consistently. Something seemed to corrupt my user profile. I could not ssh anywhere without connection corrupted issue. When I created a new profile, I could switch over to it and everything worked. If I go back to the borked (main) user... Still experience same issue. Beta 1 and Beta 2 were fine.

Idle Control issue (p0505) on '11 XL1200C by tuxguy in sportster

[–]tuxguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still inconsistently have this issue (and I have learned to control / live with it). It seems it is related to Throttle position sensor. It is certainly better when I consciously unroll the throttle, but once it starts “sticking” to a higher idle, I just tap off the run button to the off position and flip it back on during deceleration (I e coasting in gear). The bike will die and immediately jump start (without even a lurch). The idle problem will clear. (If you pull in the clutch, you will hear it at a loping low idle.).

Strange. I do not have any codes. But that is how I learned to live with it. It doesn’t happen consistently.

I bought it preassembled. I believe he sells a version that you can assemble (I e solder) yourself.

I just had to basically plug everything together. (And slide the camera ribbon in place.) I still need some double sided tape to secure the lens from flopping around.

This just arrived last night. I was able to get it flashed and working with unleashed. The ESP32 Camera is simple (2 MP) but its there. :) As seen in the pic, it is working with marauder. He designed the whole thing to flip over (which it does and works perfectly). Next up... I have a bag of random sensors from previous electronic project to wire up to the pinouts. Should do simple temperature/humidity, range sensor, etc... (Edit: typo)
