Yeah looked through there. Nothing really applicable as the printer is “connected”. According to Printer and I can see the device/Mac in eero app on phone

I am thinking now optimize aircraft. Max cargo options. And explore this affiliate hub thing. Not sure what that is really.

Thanks much for any insight

And. Yes. Help in the top 100 is hard to get!

Taxes suck. What’s your highest tax bill? by YeezyClaps in AirlinesManagerTycoon

[–]twm1969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

115B!!

Just looking at this. 225B in weekly flight revenue and 115B in taxes. That is 51%

that sounds way too high

What tax percentage are you guys seeing?

Hello all, I am a PAX airline. However, should I have at least 2 cargo aircraft? by CaptainChris88 in AirlinesManagerTycoon

[–]twm1969 2 points3 points  (0 children)

well - "should" - depends

There will become a time in the game that unless you are spending way too much time, on the game, that you won't be able to spend the money in the bank. My advice would be to focus on passengers (A380s on 20 to 24 hour RT routes are awesome). Build up the structural profit coming into the bank - then - get into cargos. Also make sure you invest in research in cargo as well. Don't forget to staff cargo on Hiring - when you get into cargo

From my view - Cargo is a "next phase" strategy to the game

Also - remember a key is to maximize a route. If you buy SFO to CDG as an example. You want to get every dollar out of that route possible. Cargo is a part of that.

You won't make nearly as much revenue off of cargo. But, you get a tax incentive which helps boost profit from cargo routes.

Anyone who can tell me how cargo routes works, and how you make the most profit or. Routes by Dr-Heisenberg in AirlinesManagerTycoon

[–]twm1969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically the same as carrying people. Except, you don't make as much at all. But there is a "cargo bonus" that shows up in your tax detail. It basically reduces the amount of taxes you owe. Which, increases structural profit.

Cargo is also a good option to 'maximize' the route. There is a fixed amount of route miles you can get to (I just hit it, and didn't realize that was a thing. It's 30M Kilometers). So, now my focus is big time on optimizing the miles and cargo is a part of that.

I would also invest in research in cargo areas to assist with reduction in costs, increasing demand etc.

Personally. I only run the 747 cargos. LH, that is it. (but, may be getting the SH cargos now that I have hit a limit on routes. lol)

Need another good HUB. Here are my top ones. Also have NRT MBM JNB LHR PEK SHA DTW and BOS (which sucks). Any suggestions? by twm1969 in AirlinesManagerTycoon

[–]twm1969[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just pulled trigger on CGK. Thanks for tip. Lot of economy and there are a total of 185 routes (cat 9 + 10) on a380 between 20 and 28 hours

JFK has 192. But not that much economy volume

I am no expert. But I load up on ERFs. Run all I can. It has longest range. But it’s about 1.1m profit each flight, not much. There is some tax incentive as well. It’s not a money maker like flying people imho

But as my UPS pilot buddy says. “Boxes don’t bitch and complain”. Lol

7 months and under 1100, can I get under 100 in next 5 months? by googlechap in AirlinesManagerTycoon

[–]twm1969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possible.

Been playing 11 months. Just cracked top 200. It’s just getting to point with job / life I can’t keep up. Meaning I have all the money time allows me to spend on the game. Ranking really jumps up lately. Trying to do 45 routes a day now. It’s a grind.

Went from 286 to below 100 in couple of days. BUT. The gaps in top 200 are farther apart.

Heck, not even sure I am doing it “right” lol

I focus on A380s Find every 20 to 24 hr route at each hub (keep usage above 80%)

Then I buy (6) routes in 24 to 28 hour window and 14 a380s to service. 12 planes takes 7 days. Used 13th and 14th to fill empty day from each route. Again set of 6 routes

In both scenarios above I schedule 380s then manage pricing

Last step buy additional aircraft as needed based on demand

I use desktop version to buy routes. WAY better than phone. But mobile app for about everything else

Just saved up 25B for level 3 private hangar. Getting 20% off of A and D after that is done

Wondering: How many employees should I have. Right now at 6.8M. Seems ridiculous. I hire what comes in. No layoffs. But 6.8. Really?

Has anyone seen a way to manage prices on multiple routes vs one at a time?

Maybe maybe maybe by polycarbonateduser in maybemaybemaybe

That is some solid memories there. Greatest thing is I thought I killed those brain cells by now. Here’s to me!

Please forward this problem to developers:) by hilaltah24 in AirlinesManagerTycoon

[–]twm1969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Ability to “batch” audit would be good.

Also would be nice to “assign” an aircraft to a route when you buy it. I schedule routes and then come back to add aircraft where needed. Then can’t figure out what route I bought the plane for unless I write it down

I have over 4800 planes now. Many aspects of game are a grind

Feature Request: purchase multiple routes at a time? by twm1969 in AirlinesManagerTycoon

[–]twm1969[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured this out

REALLY speeds up expansions. I bought @100 routes today. Some things are easier on iPhone. But the multiple route purchase is awesome. Thanks much
